Gone had some Typing Excercise in Computer, Lesson in English, Had a quiz in our local Martial Art in P.E., had a practice in Math about Mean, Median, and Mode and discussed about Types of Matter in Science. (we have discussed this for 7 STRAIGHT YEARS and I'm sick of it.)

As someone who's done English in school and is now going to do it in college, it is a never ending cycle of Shakespearean.

Yet knowledge of Shakespeare in "the real world" is very much underappreciated.

The best thing about learning Shakespeare is that it will influence your writing style, but then nobody except another English major will be able to recognize your brilliance. My nihilistic view of the world continues to be reinforced.

Made a PowerPoint Presentation for Math because we have a Performance Task tomorrow.
Still wonder why tech is mostly used for school nowadays. (I'm trying to make a joke here.)

I am hoping I do, too. Trying to put something together at the moment, but it seems to keep falling through.

you'd be shocked to see an """"""""""educator"""""""""" who despises work of technology and would think your own digital art = something copied off from google

Apparently, yes.

I've had a teacher like that back in 9th grade. The class was tasked to complete our own portfolio of what we have done for the whole school year. She required a cover page to come with the portfolio, which was to be designed with whatever we learned from her.

I made mine with an image editing software. It was a vector minimalist image that was made from scratch, and it took me tutorials to try and achieve the desired look.

When I turned my portfolio in, she asked why I decided to just grab something from Google and printed it to use as my cover page. That really tilted me out.

I slammed her insult right back at her face by showing the file and me fiddling around it to make a few changes.

The test had like 10 questions, I would feel shame if I didn't get 100%. And this is coming from a person who can't work out how to pour water out of a boot with the instructions on the heel.

Wouldn't we all feel shame if we didn't get 100%?

Almost done with week 2 of college.

The food is better, my schedule is better, my classes are more interesting, and I get to sleep in later.
Somehow my classes in high school were longer. Going from 93 mins to 75 at most helps.

The hard part is adjusting to the fact I have to wake myself up and drive myself to school every day.

I don't go to school anymore, but I do work in one and let me tell you, there is nothing more irritating than having to explain to moms with "I want to speak to the manager" haircuts that their child cannot have the snacks that have been set aside for the kids with severe allergies when their child has absolutely no allergies. I tell them that they can bring in those same snacks for their kid to eat, but they cannot have the ones that we keep on hand. The moms get pissed, demand to talk to my boss, then get told the same thing.
This has happened 3 times now.
