I voice all the unpopular opinions in school.

Y'know it's funny cause I enjoy school, but I don't enjoy the students.

Eh, it's the same as last year, except we have to do a Personal Project. The first unit in Computer Design gives us the task of designing and creating a video game.

School is quite nice, our school is generally faster than other schools in my country. We are expected to be able to take o-levels by the time we are 14. Our school is considered by other schools to be considered 'nerds' and 'geeks' and I am honestly proud of it.

Our school also has a rather small population and hence there are many opportunities for everyone to shine. The best ones compete at the international level and gain recognition for the country.

However, being in such a school means that there is always a stress to do well, not in front of visitors but as well as in front of your classmates. There is a competition to be the best among your peers always, but people tend to be humble in front of others.

I'm about 2 weeks into my senior year of high school. It's been going very well for me so far.

I go back to uni in two weeks, and I'm kind of terrified. I'm repeating second year because of MH issues, and it's like, this is my Last Chance.
As a silver lining, they changed a lot of the modules around so despite retaking I'll be doing a lot of new courses. Plus I get to do the screenwriting module again, which was my absolute fav, and my dream future career! (I actually got two marks under a First last time, it was the second half of the year-long module, radio plays, where my MH issues got bad and I basically dropped out, so this time I'm aiming for a First)
It'll be great to get back to living in London with my flatmates and having my SO nearby again though :D

I'm struggling with the Homework and my addiction to technology. There's HW every night. And I have to read too :(

Well school is not that bad
My teachers are mostly pretty nice
But my classmates
UGH
They are so childish and don't seem to care for others
We get into (verbal) fights a lot, and as soon as they start feeling they are wrong, they just cover their ears and start screaming LA LA LA LA LA. And that's just one thing.

My classmates are the same.
I don't care about them and I'm always avoiding trouble.

Btw, I just started school.
Wish me luck...

So, we went hiking the first day, nothing much the first night but dancing and swag. It pretty much rained the whole day. We went to sleep in tents. From what I heard, two people were arguing until 1 AM. Today, I got scratches from caving and got wet from hiking. It rained today too. It was exhausting but satisfying. Now, we have checked into a hotel and I'm watching some crappy Chinese TV.

We have just bought ingredients for sandwiches and shit, and are now heading back from the supermarket to the hotel. We have to make the food in one hour and compete with each other. This is going to be a crazy night.

Got my EMT uniform yesterday. Going on site for orientation in about week.

Now going to be pulling 10-12 hour shifts during school and on weekends at hospital waiting room awaiting when to be called to a scene.

Feels good man.

That was actually quite a good night. 3 groups won the competition of food making: one group made sushi, which no one thought of, one group made guacamole sandwich (they made the guacamole themselves!), and another group made some star-shaped stuff (didn't catch what they made).

things that happened in school today:
1. "hey, are you going to the harambe shrine tonight?" - random dude on bus to someone else
2. a bunch of kids phones rang all at once and people were texting them asking if the school was on lockdown because a clown stabbed someone, teachers also all talk about it
3. girl i've never talked to turns to me and says "i'm going to wear a clown costume so the clowns don't stab me"
4. there were sirens and 2 police cars sped right past the school, i think someone was stabbed by a clown
5. i forgot to turn in my paper

things that happened in school:
we had a 50th celebration of our school's existence, which involved all of us trekking up to a field that's technically owned by another school but we use anyway
they actually hired a proper stage and speakers and instruments and we kind of started up a very small mosh pit in front of the stage which was great
yet they still can't afford to buy more clocks for the classrooms

a gust of wind made a rubbish tornado
they sent a bunch of year 7s to run after it

they sold me overpriced milkshakes and burgers, all in the name of charity.

a wasp landed on my arm. it didn't sting me, but it was still traumatising.

I barely passed my business exam (which is one of my best subjects) but did well in my French (which is one of my worst) so I don't know whether to feel good or bad about that.
