“No, it’s a pool ball. It might have broken had I done that. Plus it wouldn’t have good bounce and I could have injured myself on the off chance I missed a catch. Tossing it between my hands like juggling with one ball, rather.”

“I tossed my ball a bit. Then I dropped it. It rolled over to William and he handed it back to me. I was going to grab something to eat but I forgot to.”

"Because Tim cried the first night. It is very likely he did the same last night. Either way one of you and Merk would be lying and since you had plenty more time to do the kill it makes you the most likely candidate. And what coincidence that you went and got sheet from someone else's room, same type as the murder weapon"

TakumiHijirihara wrote:“Well, this isn’t going to end well at all, now is it. Last night I was in my room tossing my ball about. I then moved on to Guy’s old room and, uh, “borrowed” his sheets to replace my stolen ones from the night prior. After that I returned to my room to fix my bed, then I went down to the caf and after, spent the rest of the night in the kitchen. I checked the hallway outside of Tim’s room and can assume that the killer didn’t break in. If I die here, can I just ask that someone gives my ball a good home?”

"This alibi isn't that good. First of all, you have consecutive unaccounted for actions, which matches with the killers actions. Next, Gary brings up very good points: You admitted to taking sheets, which were the murder weapon. And, you didn't hear any noise like I did A1. Right now, you're the prime suspect."

Btw if Tim cried A1 that means the killing probably took place over A2 and A3 right?

"Merk said that Tim stopped crying on A1, so it's unlikely that it took place over A3 unless the killer was less competent in ravishment."

Don't you get it you piece of watery pineapple? Why would someone even kill another human being? It doesnt make sense, so it cannot be the truth. Since it cannot be the truth, then someone else must have done it. But since it is impossible for someone else to have done it it must have been no one, because technically even if you are murdered or whatever you are dying of natural causes. You dont get it? I mean because if you are killed another natural being killed you, so it is a natural death. But since natural causes isnt actually a person ill actually vote "no one". Hope is the only acceptable answer!! - 0 votes

As of the time of this update, trial is over.

"Let's get this over with," the Grinch sounds tired, "Uh... let's see..."

You hear some fumbling and the sound of a video player playing. Some minutes later, the Grinch speaks up again,

"Uh, alright. So two people have to come, and yada yada, results,"

There are a few seconds of silence.

".......Ugh, fine. I'll sing the god damned song..."

Spoiler: "He who took too long to speak,"

"Will end up like the coconut Wilson,"

"And for all of you, who are weak,"

"I'm not glad to inform that the culprit is, sadly,

Vincent."

"You got it again...? *sigh*, You have 10 minutes to come to the working area, Vincent. Otherwise I'm coming for you, and I don't think Alice would like her room getting decorated with your guts."

The killer unmasked, Vincent just stays there, passing a ball between his hands. What now?

Vincent sighs. “It’s not like we’re gonna be able to escape without following the grinch’a orders. And you all were planning a party. It didn’t seem like anyone else was going to do why not? Tim wasn’t useful anyway. I do have to say though, I killed him with his own bedsheet. I didn’t steal it. It was a spare from his closet. He fought like hell. Took longer than I expected to kill him. I was hoping it’d be one and done, so I could get outta there and find some semblance of an alibi, but it took half the night to get out of that room.”

He stops tossing the ball and grips it in his left hand. “I can’t help but think I still could have gotten away with it if I wasn’t spacing out all the time. Ah well. Guess I’m technically getting outta here now anyway.”

“Haha, we’re getting pretty good at solving these cases!” Simon’s grinning cheerfully, as usual, but it’s... not right. And not meaning that grinning when your coworkers are slowly being picked off is not right, because that was already established. It’s that it seems a bit less genuine now. Or maybe it’s just getting harder and harder to believe that this lunatic can remain in good spirits.

“Nah, probably not. But I wasn’t paying much attention and straight up denying someone else with a decent alibi’s account probably wasn’t a good idea either. But hey. Them’s the breaks.”
