Deadly Life

You all stand in the hallway of the dorm carriage, Beau with his umbrella, Letitia with her bag, Kam'rae with her staff, Paegus sleeping and sitting on her wheelchair, and Frey... being Frey. Both Frey and Paegus have wet hair and clothes. Paegus quickly wakes up after some Frey slaps.

"I...I-In just two days... e-everything came c-crashing down..." Justin runs his hand through his disheveled green hair, "And the culprit of all this.....!!!"

He storms into the room from which you all heard a gunshot come from, and the one which Justin broke into: Bryce's. In there, past the broken door on the floor, Van Dine can be seen sprawled across the floor in a pool of blood, with warm blood coming out of the wound on his chest. Not far from him is Bryce, laying down unmoving on the floor... with a shotgun right by his side. Your kidnapper approaches him and checks his breathing. He is alive. Justin takes out his revolver, first checking out the shotgun next to Bryce before doing anything else.

"......The barrel is warm and it has no ammo. ...............This was used not long ago."

Having said that, he puts his hand inside Bryce's pocket and takes something out: It is a key labeled "Master key". He looks at it, puts it back in his pocket and gets up. He takes a quick look around and finds something shiny on the floor. Not wasting a second, he walks up to it and picks it up... it is the key to Bryce's room.

"...The door was locked, so....."

Justin leaves the key where it was and walks to Bryce. He puts his revolver against Bryce's forehead and, with his index finger on the trigger, puts some force on it... but in the end he sighs and just brings the gun down.

"..........We have no time to waste. We may have to end the game prematurely, so let's get this done quick, Justin's eyes turn sharp and he glares at the lot of you in the hallway, "Investigate and find if Bryce truly is the culprit. I will help you investigate, just tell me where to... And don't even think of escaping, or else..."

"..." Justin stands there with his gun drawn inside the room. You could run but... that revolver in his hand has your feet stuck where you are. As some of you shake in fear, you hear a groan from within the room. You look in and catch Bryce slowly getting up.

"Eh?" he says when he notices all of you and the body on the floor.

"...So Van Dine was shot dead in this room and the murder weapon was found next to you. Adding to that, the master key and your room key, the only things that could lock your door from the outside, were found in here... Things are certainly not looking good for you since the door, the only way in, was locked, Bryce Jenkins."

He is grabbed by the collar and thrown into the hallway. Bryce doesn't manage to stabilize in time and falls onto the floor. The people around him give him weird looks.
...is the detective truly the culprit...?

- You have 24 hours to PM me where you want to investigate.

- You have 4 (four) credits this round. One (1) credit spent allows a scan of a room, while two (2) credits allow an in-depth investigation of a room.
The corpse counts as a separate room.

- You also have Justin! You can have him indepth a single room. He will be participating in the trial, and will share his alibi along with his invest results. Just tell him where to investigate in the thread and he will.
...Though do know even he himself could be the culprit, somehow.

- If you have a skill you can use, PM you want to use it along with which room you are investigating.

- You cannot discuss what you did on the night on this phase. Save that for trial.

- Remember: Posting here which room/s you will be investigating is for organization purposes only. This is so your organize with other players so you don't have five people checking a single room.

- After I send you your investigation, you mustn't post here what you found. Save that for trial.

- One last thing, remember to ask questions about your investigation like the OP says. You may find important information.

- You can only ask questions if you are indepthing a room, of course. A scan is just a glance. An indepth search really is an indepth search, which is why you're allowed to investigate more.
