- In order to win you must pass the final trial.
- There shall be a cycle of four phases: night, investigation, trial, and intermission.
- During the night phase you may PM myself or the co-host. You may take any reasonable action you so wish. Note that other players actions may influence how your own actions plays out.
- You may only attempt to murder one person per night. Only one player shall be allowed to commit murder per night. Players may attempt to commit suicide once. Only one player shall be allowed to attempt suicide per night, and this shall replace the usual murder. This means there shall usually only be one death per night, but there is one exception this rule: if in a trial for a suicide the vote correctly identifies the death as a suicide then there shall be no execution, and in one of the following nights two murders shall be allowed. You may theoretically have an accomplice, but they shall receive no reward (or punishment) for helping the main murderer- they would basically be doing it out of good will, which is hard to find in killing games.
- During the investigation phase you may collect evidence to help you uncover the murderer. This phase shall end when either at least 50% of players vote for it to end or if I decide it is taking too long so end it myself.
- During the trial phase you may discuss and vote for who you believe the culprit is. Whoever receives the majority of the vote shall be executed. If you execute the correct person all of the living players get a reward, with a 'special' reward for whoever I decide helped the most in the trial. If you execute the wrong person then the true culprit gets a 'special reward' and one night of immunity (which they can activate on any night they wish), while everyone else receives a non-fatal punishment.
- 'Special' rewards have special rules. A player may only own one 'special' reward at a time. If you are rewarded a 'special' reward after a class trial then you must nominate another living player who doesn't own any 'special' rewards to receive it instead. If you die while in possession of a 'special' reward you must nominate a living player who doesn't own any 'special' rewards to inherit it. These 'special' rewards can not be destroyed.
- During the intermission everyone, including dead players, may talk. I request that dead players do not reveal secrets of the game if they have figured them out, as these are for the living players to figure out during the last trial
- After 5 class trials the final trial shall begin. You may not murder people after this point.
- You may whisper to other players. To do this you should PM me what you wish to whisper to another player. I shall then PM that player your message. This is so I can keep track of all whispers, and change things accordingly.
- There shall be 16 active players. You may sign up as reserve player to take someone's place should they become inactive. To signup please submit the simple character sheet which can be found in the "Players" section.
- Players MUST be active. Please notify be if you will not be able to post for up to 48 hours, and I will adjust the game accordingly until you return. If you will not be able to post regularly for an extended period of time please notify me, and I shall replace your character with a reserve. If you do not post for over 36 hours without warning you shall be 'prodded'. If you do not post within 24 hours after being prodded you shall be replaced. If you receive 4 prods you shall be replaced. The only exceptions to this are if it is the intermission phase or if there is literally nothing your character can do currently (eg. If they incapacitated).
- Do NOT edit your posts while in-character. You may edit posts while out-of-character.
- Do not destroy aokuma.
- You may only steal from another person's bedroom during the night time.
Character sheet:
"Name= What people will refer to you as.
Sex= May affect what areas you can enter.
Image= An image of what your character looks like.
Ultimate= Your character's ultimate ability"
Please note that your character's ultimate ability will influence minor aspects as game-play. For example I am thinking of giving every character an non-weapon item related to their ultimate ability at the start of the game. As such, I request you are fairly sensible with what you choose your ultimate ability to be. I may make you pick a new ultimate ability if I think your current one isn't fitting. That said, don't be afraid to at least submit the ultimate ability you would prefer if you are unsure if it is 'sensible'- I can be somewhat lenient, and you'll be told if it's necessary for it to be changed.
