Trial 3 - This time for what?

"Everyone, investigation time is over. Please gather at the cafeteria."
Shortly after, everyone gathered in the cafeteria. Upon everyone, including Monokuma, coming here, the floor, or elevator started to move down. Monokuma was, seemingly less happy than before.
Everyone was silent, only one voice had echoed while the elevator was moving down.
"Meow!"

Shortly after, the elevator stopped, and Monokuma opened the door, and everyone walked to trial ground.
There were 12 seats, around a circle, and a bigger seat in a distance. There were 7 photographs with red cross marks on them, representing dead people. Also Caleb's photograph has been removed.
Monokuma walked to the big seat while everyone else walked to one of the small seats. Then Monokuma made his speech, starting the trial.

"Now I should make my speech about how that class trial helps you preserve the hope which helps despair to grow even further and bla bla bla...
Was earlier class trial for really despair? It seems so, though I am not sure. Anyway, for that one,...
given the numbers, it is for living, or dying, right? I cannot see any in-between there.

"Now then, let's begin with a simple explanation of the Class Trial! During the Class Trial, you will present your arguments for who the killer is, and vote for whodunnit! If you vote correctly, only the Blackened will receive punishment! But if you pick the wrong person... I'll punish the voted player and one other innocent person, and the Blackened will earn the right to leave from the killing game!"

Instead of that, you must paraphrase, or change how they are written in second person to first person before posting.

You can still ask questions about your investigations for 24 hours. After that, no more questions will be allowed.

Trial will last 48 hours, but I could extend it by 24 hours more if you ask for it and I see you really are stuck.

To vote someone, PM me who you want to vote. Votes are anonymous and all I'll do is post how many votes a player has.
You can only change your vote two times. Unvoting counts as changing a vote.

Marcella takes a deep breath before sighing
Before we start... Can I ask whoever investigated the tech lab to not mention by name the two items I acquired.. Once everything else that's missing is accounted for it should be obvious why i'm asking.

its like 12:30am so i'll do this ooc

DA1: Went to the horror room and met up with brook. Was looking for any black capes or fabrics to blend in a dark environment. Unfortunately was unable to gather anything of the sort.
DA2: Tech room with knight. Grabbed 2 Items i'll refer to as Item A and Item B for now. Whoever checked tech lab can confirm those two items are missing.
TA: Went to the Bio lab, planning on using a Item A to crack open the scanners.
A1: Turns out someone had already taken a sledge hammer to them breaking them beyond the ability of the device to work. Lockers themselves were still tightly sealed
A2: Heard the alarm and visited the garden, There was a small fire in the south side of the garden before I was hit by something. Scrambled for the door but it locked and the gas knocked me out (i'll share more of this in a bit).
A3+ Had a dream sequence, direct character related stuff.

Awaiting investigation results but I was notified I was covered in a lot of blood and had a bloody golden knife on my person when I woke up.

Well, that lines up with what I found…it seems like the killer wanted to frame Marcella, but got interrupted by that when I found the body. I can give my full alibi shortly.

I was intrigued by the eye sensors that Marcella mentioned. After breakfast, I went to the biology lab to find out more about these sensors. The room was unusually cold, but otherwise seemed normal. I approached the eye sensors and discovered that they operated the two doors at the end of the biology lab. I attempted to use the sensors, but the door did not unlock. I then tried removing the sensors from the door, but I could not do that either.

After lunch, I pondered on what to do with the eye sensors. I concluded that if I could not use the sensors, then I might as well destroy them. As such, I returned to the biology lab and smashed it with a book.

As the evening came, I mindlessly wandered back to my room.

When the night first began, I got the idea that if I could not open the doors, then I may simply break the doors! As such, I searched for tools in the storage room and got a battering ram and Halligan bar. It was during this time that I heard the fire alarm go off in the exact same place again- the garden. Quite strange.

I spent the next hour of the night going to the biology lab and attempting to break down the door with the battering ram and Halligan bar. Unfortunately, neither of these tools worked. I heard a second announcement regarding the fire as well.

I returned to the storage and reluctantly grabbed some explosive kits. I knew that using these would be dangerous, but I had no other choice if I wanted to get through that door.

I went back to the biology lab again and set up the explosives on the doors, then hid under some tables. I detonated the explosives, which blew a huge hole in between the doors. I also heard some voices, but could not distinguish what the were saying because my hearing had been damaged by the sound of the explosion.

At first, I thought the voices were from inside the room I just breached, but I soon realized they were from outside. I went into the room that I had breached and it was extremely cold. Some of the machinery was damaged, likely from the explosion, but were still functional. I searched the room and discovered a body! Jan was inside one of the machines. I concluded that this room was a morgue and left immediately.

I then decided to go to the stairs to investigate the other sensors, but I noticed something was happening in the garden. As I walked in, I saw Erika searching the pockets of another body! After seeing it, I heard Monokuma, but still could not discern what they said.

For my investigation i checked the garden.
Fire was started in the south garden.
To the north garden there's some marks on the ground leading to the centre. There is a slight blood trail with them
At the very top there's a splash of blood from something.
Theres a set of footprints leading from the north garden way to where I was at. Footprints appear besides the splash of blood at the top
I was unable to find any snagged clothing on any of the plants or anything.
Nor was I able to find a way to follow the footprints out.

For myself personally. Blood covered my front, a very large quantity of it. There was also some blood around where I was laying.
The knife I found on me on closer inspection appears to be covered in some sort of golden paint rather then being gold.

I passed out face first on the path near the door, but awoke in the north garden face up. Drag marks line up with me being moved there.
Blood near the marks appears to be a combination of drips and rubbed in with the dirt.
The blood patch at the north most part is splashed onto grass. There also appears to be some disturbance with the grass close to it.
The drag marks passes through one of the least dense area of the garden. Enough to move through at a slower pace to avoid touching plants.
I found a burnt out stick in the southern garden

My investigation of the west hallway has revealed that the victim lies towards the south of the hallway, in front of the garden. There are blood drops on the hallway wall, which were spilt around Action 3 or Action 4. At the north side of the hallway, there are many small pieces and fragments of varying material(glass, metal, etc) and of many different colors. They are all around the door of the biology lab and could not be reassembled. The biology lab door is slightly damaged, but the north window is intact.

I assume that the pieces north of the hallway are unrelated to the murder. They're likely fragments that blew into the hallway due to the explosions that I had set off during the night.

I don't think such proof exists. We didn't get to investigate any place outside of the garden, and possibly the tech room if Brooke went there, so it's not like we can confirm our alibis that way. There is also the fact we are four people, so all accounts of what happened outside of the garden might as well be useless if we were alone.

Speaking of which, why would you try to direct our limited resources to investigating something that is not relevant to the crime itself? In what way does knowing you took items from the tech room during the day help clear you or solve this murder?

My alibi is as follows,

[D1] - I was in the ??? room by myself. I investigated it some more, but my investigation was fruitless.
[D2] - I was again by myself, this time in the archive. I found some documents related to Hope's Peak's history, but seeing as sharing the contents would (OOC: clutter up this post), I will refrain from revealing them until this case is solved.
[T] - I got to the tech lab. I was alone.
[A1] - I immediately left that room and walked into the garden. Not a single soul inside except for myself. I do not deny the possibility someone could have been hiding. As I roamed around, I spotted smoke coming from the southern side. A closer look revealed there to be a fire which was immediately followed by the fire announcement.
[A2] - The chem lab was my next destination. I was alone, but did hear the second fire announcement.
[A3] - I investigated the room, but nothing had been touched since the last time it was investigated.
[A4] - I honestly hoped to find another fire in the storage. Sadly, reality is often disappointing: the room was completely normal. I did hear two voices while in there, one was muffled, the other was stronger. The third fire announcement played after. Must be noted I was, yet again, all alone.
[A5] - Seeing as the garden was declared safe, I walked into the room fully expecting to find a corpse. And I did. A masked Brooke stood next to a body lying face down.
[A6] - I had been craving for mysteries the entire night, so I immediately jumped in to investigate. Brooke left at this point. I confirmed the person's death, checked their inventory, and finally saw that their bracelet had been activated. I revealed this earlier, but the knight's forbidden action was to step on anything red. Illumidi walked into the room at the same time I finished, causing the body announcement to play.

The victim was in possession of the following items: two buckets (one empty, one filled with water), a few papers, a badge with diamond image on it, a sword, a bamboo sword, a shield, a war horn, a notebook, a pencil case, a lighter, and a gun with a keyboard(?.
I have no clue what the last item could be, but it must be noted he owned a lighter. I have yet to think through this more, but there is the possibility the victim themselves started the fire.


My body investigation did not reveal much. The victim had two stab wounds on their back, leaving it all bloody, and he also had an injection mark in each arm. The injection marks did not appear to be recent.
His face was one of shock and pain. His shoes only had blood on them. I mentioned this just earlier and it is already known, but the bracelet's forbidden action, which was to step on anything red, had been activated.

I also investigated the garden, but you'll have to wait some more on that. I'm thinking some things still.

The results from any check have yet to be revealed if there relevant.
The tech room was the last room I saw knight in personally, along with that it hosts a wide range of gadgets that could be used to accomplish a great many things. If someone investigated it and there's more then two items missing I would be willing to hint at which ones i have.
My running theory is it may contain a device in which to access the garden while its locked down.
There's also the extra quantity of blood I am curious about.

Can i ask why you went to the places you did? I.e. why head to the garden in A1 or what reason did you have to visit the labs / storage
