"I was not provoked. I am innocent. I was framed by the killer for murdering my best friends. While I certainly could have killed them in the same situation you will just have to believe me. In a court of law however that sentence doesn't seem to work out for people."

She bangs her head against the table several times, then sits up and adjusts her hair and glasses before standing, clearing her throat as she does so.

Now, let me explain. SCP stands for "Secure, Contain, Protect" - no matter what ANYONE else says - and that is what we do. Our mission is to protect the world from what we call SCPs or scips. An SCP is something that has...anomalous properties. Basically, it's something - a place, an item, a person, even an idea, - that does things that it normally would not be capable of. These things...can be a threat to the status quo of the world, even when they don't mean to be, and, in some cases, the status quo is a threat to them. So we find them, we secure them, we contain them, we protect them AND the world.

Now, there are three primary classifications - there are more, but they are waaaaaay above my paygrade and, quite frankly, I don't want to know - and the scips are separated into these three categories depending on certain criteria. The three categories are:

Safe. No, it's not what it says on the tin. These are SCPs that are relatively easy for us to contain. No, that does not mean they are safe to use. Even safe scips can kill someone IF mishandled. You lot will probably be working with these more, so just do as you're told and you'll be fine.

Euclid. These SCPs are more difficult to contain because they are more unpredictable. Again, that doesn't mean it's dangerous, per-say, just that we need more resources to keep it contained. You MIGHT be rescheduled to work on one of these, but again, do as you're told.

Keter. Keter SCPs are difficult to contain and will fuck you up just for fun, so be thankful you won't be seeing any of those while you are here. Namely because the REALLY dangerous ones got transferred to other sites due to a...let's just say, concern.

In a more basic form, Safe SCPs stay in the box, Euclid SCPs will move around and may try to leave the box, Keter SCPS will try to EAT the box.

And then you get put on Keter duty. NOBODY wants to get put on Keter duty,"
