Newest Update Broke Chatlog Thing

The bottom part, meant to be reserved for current-time chat, now has this semi-opaque overlay.
If I keep the full-log open while chat messages come in, the new messages are shown as regular. Example: https://i.gyazo.com/8b05f42f6c055fab7f4 ... e1fb20.png

And I'm sure this is from the new update because this wasn't happening earlier today when I played before the patch.

This is not a bug, its meant to display the messages you missed after the chatlog was opened. As you can see on your screenshot, was the last messages that are sent in the chat, also the last ones in the displayed log.
