Blackmailers see their own whispers twice in chat

Unsure if this is actually a bug, or if it's not, but I couldn't find anything on it within the forums.
Blackmailers see any whispers they send twice: once like you would usually see a whisper you sent, and a second one like a whisper you weren't involved in, but could see via the Blackmailer's ability.
Strangely, whispers addressed to you do not appear twice; they only appear once, as one would expect.
Experienced this while playing the browser Flash version in Google Chrome.

This is not a bug, as Blackmailers are able to read every whisper that is sent, which would include their own.
