My Redeem Code Stopped working

I used a redeem code to start playing, and only after 5 games it said my trial was over! But it wasn't a trial, and my friend said I could get at LEAST 50 game plays from a trial. Can I get an explanation as to why it finished after 5 games?

Your friend is mistaken, as using a referral code to test the game will only grant 5 plays and each account is only able to use one referral code for trial games.
So the shown behaviour is not a bug.
