I was in an Coven AllAny game and the only Mafia spawned was a Consigliere.

I don't think that's a glitch, unless the game failed to promote the Consigliere to a Mafioso.

They did not get promoted, and Left D2.

Untrue. When a Mafia role gets promoted, they still show as their original role during the endscreen.

When the logs are generated at the end of a game, it shows the recent role they were, not their original role. I see no reason for the post-lobby to be any different. As far as I know, it's going to show their recent role. They might have changed it though.

Just to clear stuff up: The game shows the original Mafia roles the players had when the game starts d1, in contrast to the Trial System. Since there is no killcapable Mafia role available in the game, the Consig would have been promoted to a Mafioso and displayed as Mafioso in the after game lobby. Since they did not, it is because the left the game before the game started and ended up dead on d2 because of that.

Dead players are not taken in for the check of promotions. The fact that the user had a defualt name supports this theory, which means they likely left during the name selection.
