Jailed someone and it didn't work?

Clicked to jail someone on day1 and it said i failed to do my day job, first time it ever happen, so i figured i should put it here.

Gatorade left the game, as you can see their name being in brackets in the target list on the bottom right -> [Gatorade]
Players that left the game cannot be jailed.
