Log In With Steam Bug

it doesnt happen every time, but most times I try to log in with steam I get 'GenericFailure'

Had this happen the first time too
All you have to do is just restart the client.

I had it twice, got my phone, took a screenshot, uploaded it to discord etc and then it worked

When did you click in the "login with Steam"-button? When you start the game, please wait a bit (~15+ seconds) before hitting the "login with Steam"-button and you should be fine. it takes some "loading time".
Disclaimer: I try to abide by the game's softfilter and use the appropriate replacements, when I am using the forums. Those will be set in brackets. Example: [tarnation]

Then the login right away was fixed before it got released, I know TurdPile encountered before.
