Ideal Gameplay

Okay, so, i'm going to show you the ideal gameplay. In gameplay, I mean in writing Last will and Notes, and eventually Death Notes to help you. I'll start:

Last wills:

[Your name] is [your role]

N1 [targeted player] [result]
N2

Example of Last will:

Midio7 is Investigator

N1 John Proctor (BodyGuard, Godfather, Arsonist, Crusader) (or write Bg, Gf, Arso, Crus if ur lazy at writing)


If Veteran/Vigilante:

[Your name] is [Veteran/Vigilante]

Alert/Bullet 1: Night (and there you write in which night you used your first alert/bullet, if Vigilante try to type after night, what he claimed and why did you shoot him)

Example of a Last will as Vigilante:

Midio7 is Vigilante

Bullet 1: Night 2, John Proctor, his Last will seems lazy, as he fast thought of something to write, he's also silent

Bullet 2: Night

Bullet 3: Night

Example of a Last will as Veteran:

Midio7 is Veteran

Alert 1: Night 1

Alert 2: Night

Alert 3: Night



Notes:
I think doing this will help you a lot:
- Write every number to 1-15 in notes. And type claims, delete numbers if they dead, type if someone is confirmed.

Example of Notes:
1 -
2 -
3 -
4 -
5 -
6 -
7 -
8 -
9 -
10 -
11 -
12 -
13 -
14 -
15 -

Let's say you are 8. We remove 8 from the list because you already know what you are. Day 2, 15 dead. We remove 15. 10 got confirmed as Jailor, we write "10 - Confirmed Jailor". Let's say 3 is Guardian Angel confirmed, we write "3 - Confirmed Guardian Angel - 1", and 1 is GA's target, that's why I wrote - 1. Let's say 14 claims Doctor, we write "14 - Claims Doctor".

That's all I can say about Notes.


Death Notes:

Here's something that might help you. If you are evil, you might need time to think and write everything ready to post to town. Writing in the Death Note will help you win 1-2 seconds. It's not much, bit it helps. The best if you are a role that makes multiple kills.

why you write your name and role in the will? Doesnt town see that when you dead?

why you delete numbers from notes when they dead? Doesnt that make it harder to compare to the role list? as you have to check graveyard as well as notes as well as role list?

why you write death notes? Isnt it easy to pick who wrote it from the language and emojis used?

Imagine a Last Will with just results. That's an ugly Last Will, and seeing it would burn my eyes.

I am usually playing All Any, and excluding numbers to the people alive helps me.

Why do you have to write something in the Death Note? Just put a ., no one will recognize it. Also, I don't think the average player could figure out who is the killer just based on a Death Note.

i do it slightly differently

Player1[1] claims Role2
Player2[2] claims Role3
etc

i usually use notes for a fake claim

I use notes for keeping track of claims and if I'm Faking Medium or a Forger so I can use it as an extra fake prep.

Well, you don't typically use your will unless it's night and keeping down RT: (For me) Then notes can be used throughout the day. I don't tend to have games where I don't use both to my full potential. If you consider the game Throne of Lies you see you have the right side of the book to keep track of claims and left side for actions. So in other words Will and Notes. They are beneficial to any SD game.

I just think it clutters the will overall. Also you're expecting too much from the average townie to bother reading your will.

nah it's easy to read, especially since whenever a player dies, their names are removed
