(CAA) As silent mayor/evil, claim GA with a leaving target.

So a very cliche strategy I know a lot of players use these days is claiming Surv as evil.
For one this is way too overused which ruins the point of using it since most of the times surv claims are evil.
But in CAA, fake claiming is either
A. Fake claim town and risk getting attacked and having your defense outed (or just dying)
B. Claim survivor and risk getting hung
or C. Claim another Neutral Benign role and try to get away with that.
But claiming NB will likely get you hung as if you're Amne you will be asked to remember someone or if you're GA you will be asked to protect to confirm.
Today I've played some CAA games and fake claimed GA turned surv. (by some games i mean 3)
The first game: I was Juggernaut. I stayed silent (didn't attack anyone) until the endgame, but got hex-bombed.
The second game: I was doctor. Got hung d2 cuz evil town
The third game: I was PB. Won.

tl;dr - Claiming you're Guardian Angel and your target left n1 can easily get you to endgame and possibly win the game

I think you overestimate how often people fake-claim Survivor. More often than not, it's the person who won't shut up about Survivor claims being evil that's an evil role.

Claiming GA is my usual SK strategy though. One time my "target" had two actual GAs, so I got confirmed as a GA when I really wasn't.

Funny story.
You might be right about evils claiming GA, but think of it this way:
Say there are 5 players remaining.
There is 1 transporter, 1 spy, 1 Retributionist, 1 arso (wins that night with mass ignite, fake claiming GA turned surv) and 1 surv (claiming surv).
Do you think the ACTUAL surv (who came out d1) or the Arso (that came out d2 claiming their target was a leaver) would be the one to hang?
I can't make an accurate guess as it's my strategy but if you didn't know that this strategy existed what would you do?
+the arso story happened like 2 minutes ago where there was a Consort claiming Escort (turned mafioso) and an Ambusher (claiming med) against a Jailor (with 2 exes) an Arsonist (me, fake claiming ga turned surv) and a Survivor. I attempt to lead by saying "Hang the Survivor claim and if game doesn't end/they're real survivor hold 14 in jail and see if maf kills.
Everyone goes along with the plan happily, and i get my Arso win. (there was also a pirate)

aaand it all quickly falls apart as soon as theres a PM/consig/invest in the game, as soon as remaining roles are mostly known, they are always going to check to see if you are lying, tho that will happen no matter what you claim.

also a pro GA would never waste a protect just to confirm themselves....guarenteed GA loss (you may win as survivor tho), same with amne, if town want to waste 2 days on you and force you to remember a shitty town role...youre going to lose as town to avoid getting hung...so either way u lose, better to remember an evil faction and call on all the nuetrals to help lynch any townies pushing you...

Problem with claiming nuetral as a faction member tho, is that is greatly reduces your oppurtunties to push on townies and cause mislynches, and claiming a non visiting role opens you up to every TI being able to out you
