Yeah, and how many accounts have been banned for game throwing or temporarily banned? Only 9%? or not even thatm because I deal with this kind of bull shit on a daily basis. Already reported them in game. My username was "I am a mojito" and I tried to convince the jailor to vote the mafia by telling him he'd get banned. I also reported the Godfather for gamethrowing and giving away their mafia members.

-There are 2 devs.
-They have to add new features
-They have to fix bugs
-They have to make new skins
-They have to moderate the forums
-They have to look at hundreds of reports at a time

They're trying to get a community-driven report system, but the funds for that will come off the kickstarter. At the time of writing it's about $1,500 away (even if they don't get the money they'll probably do it but it will just be later).

It's $50k, not $40k, so add 10 to your estimate :\

About the statistics for reasons of banning, I'm very surprised that game throwing/cheating isn't the most common.

You can email blankmediagamesllc@gmail.com and ask them why you were banned. You're currently unlikely to get told a reason in the forums. You may also appeal your ban if you think you were banned unfairly, once you're told why you were banned in the first place.

There is the appeal bans board now so I guess trying to find out why you were banned could go there.

It would be a lot more proactive for people to be informed why they were banned. This is especially the case for temporary bans. There is little point in people being temporarily blocked from using the game and coming back and doing the same thing without ever being told why they were blocked.

Obviously, given the current system this would probably involve extra workload for the devs (although there are many easy ways to make it fairly quick and easy, e.g. macro generated emails to their account email, etc) but once the proper system is in place people should be informed why they are banned.

You can however plead your case appeals forum for an appeal on the ban.
