Stage 1
The Confused

Each night you may target another player.
If your target is a member of the mafia, you turn into the Stage 2 version.
Stage 1 gets NO MAFIA CHAT and cannot see other mafia members
Will turn into mafioso if all other mafia dies
Cannot be whispered to by other mafia
Mafia will know who you are

Stage 2
The Confuser

Congrats! You gain mafia chat!
You can target one mafia member and one non mafia member
Whoever visits your first target will visit your second target instead
Whoever visits your second target will visit your second target too.

I like the stage 1 part but idk what they should gain when they are stage 2 :I

Are the other Mafia members aware that a Confused role exists and who it is? What if an MK targets the Confused role? They basically killed their own Mafia member.

Additionally, can this role exist if there are 4/4 mafia slots OR does the Confused role fill out the additional mafia slot on the role list if there are 3 mafia members?

I'd say let the mafia know who is the confused

but make it so they cannot whisper to them :D

The whole whisper thing could be removed in my opinion. Maybe the Mafia members don't know specifically who this person is, but know its in the game. When the Mafia attacks this person, should it do the same as this role finding a mafia? But cancels the kill? Dunno, just a thought.

it's cool, but it functions like a witch but prevents the witch from siding with NK. Good idea, but would not function well in-game.
