Two FM Roles

Name:
Strongman

Summary:
You are a bruiser on the Mafia's payroll, hired for jobs like these for your shear size and straightforward approach to solving "problems" for them.

Alignment:
Mafia (Support)

Attack: Basic (Factional Attack) Unstoppable (Buffed Attack)
Defense: None
Priority: 5th

Abilities:
While performing the factional kill, you may ignore all protection and roleblocks.

Attributes:
You may only ignore protective abilities and roleblocks twice.
You can talk with the other Mafia at night.

Special Attributes:
Mafia night chat.

Goal:
Kill anyone who will not submit to the Mafia.

Win Conditions:
Standard Mafia wincon.

Investigative Results:
Investigator: Your target is a TBD.
Sheriff: Your target is member of the Mafia.
Consigliere/Witch: Your target is a hardened criminal who specializes in violence. They must be a Strongman.

Additional Information:
Standard FM role.

Role Interaction:
Bodyguard/Crusader/Trapper: These roles will not block the attack of or attack the Strongman using their buff. This applies to Crusader even if the Strongman is the only person that visits their target.
Doctor/Crusader/Potion Master/Guardian Angel: These roles will fail to save their target when the Strongman uses their buffed attack.

Ninja

Summary:
You are a hired hitman for the mafia, stealthily carrying out your orders.

Alignment:
Mafia (Deception)

Attack: Basic (Factional Attack)
Defense: None
Priority: 5th

Abilities:
While performing the factional kill, you can choose to not appear for Trackers and Lookouts.

Attributes:
You may only hide your visit twice.
You can talk with the other Mafia at night.

Special Attributes:
Mafia night chat.

Goal:
Kill anyone who will not submit to the Mafia.

Win Conditions:
Standard Mafia wincon.

Investigative Results:
Investigator: Your target is a TBD.
Sheriff: Your target is member of the Mafia.
Consigliere/Witch: Your target is a stealthy killer for the Mafia. They must be a Ninja.

Additional Information:
Standard FM role.

Role Interaction:
Lookout/Tracker: These roles will not see the visit of the Ninja while the Ninja is using their buff.
This should probably affect Mafia analogous roles as well.

Fair warning, I know many of the ideas in this are pretty shitty/unbalanced, but I have a lot more knowledge of role mechanics and balancing now than I did then.

Currently Working On:
- Nothing in particular, might return to rework old ideas. We'll see.

Of course, only if the factional kill is implemented. These are staples in most mafia setups and ToS should be no different.

Maybe though we need to make sure that there is only one extra mafia killing role. If it's in AA, lets say, then the game could be destroyed in 2 nights if it's Mafioso, Ambusher, Ninja and Strongman. But in FM, that seems quite fun and really implementable! Good job :)

What Chemist said. These roles have to be performing the Mafia kill to use their abilities, and only one Mafia role can kill at any time.

I find both of these roles add nothing to the game besides a new "kill mode" - the reason these work in VFM is because the setup is always structured around these roles. The same does not hold true in games such as ToS - in fact, Ninja will almost never be useful.

First, yeah, I'm aware. I just put it so that there would be an easy reference to how the attack works.
Secondly, not like the new "kill mode" is an issue. This is intended for TG at the moment, and they work for the Tactical Mafia as far as I'm concerned.
Thirdly, I can't say I agree, but I would have to see it perform in game before I make a certain call.
