The Mad Scientist

Role name - Mad Scientist
Alignment - Neutral Killing
Summary - you are a Mad scientist who's dream is to see the world destroyed by your creations
Defense - none
Attack - none

Abilities:
- Each Night use a potion to accomplish an effect
- No action at night will restock potions
Attributes:
-Werewolf potion: attack as if you were the werewolf (works during odd nights) (will show up to town as if a werewolf killed the person)
-Explosive potion: douse another player in a special gas mixture that ignites during the night night (appears to town as if an arsonist killed target)
-Attack potion: Attack as if you were the potion master (will show up as killed by potion master by town)
-Poisonous potion: poison another player as if you were the poisoner (will appear to town as if killed by poisoner)
-Potion of formidable defense: give your self powerful defense for the night
-Healing potion: heal another player as if you were the doc (will show up as a doc heal to town if successful)
-Sight potion: target another player and find out their role

Investigative Results
Sheriff - Your target is not suspicious
Investigator - Your target could be Doctor / Disguiser / Serial Killer / Potion Master / Mad Scientist
Consigliere, Witch/Coven leader - Your target uses potions to deceive the town, he must be the mad scientist
Goal: Kill everyone who would oppose you.
Wins with - Survivor, witch, pirate, Guardian Angel.
Must kill - Town, Mafia, Coven, Vampires, Arsonist, Werewolf, Serial killer, Juggernaut, Plaguebearer/Pestilence

can use ww potion to kill mult ppl has arsos powerful attack on any player can hide in the shadows claim really anything they want "confirm" themselves as doc AND give them selves powerful defence a good balance is to give him no defense just saying

Hmm.. are you intending to keep this role only in coven? If no, then /nosupport because it will be a dead giveaway that there's a mad scientist present. Is there going to be a cooldown for some of the potions (like you use explosive potion and you can't use it for the next 2 nights)

A more diverse and powerful set of attacks alongside no defense is not balanced. The player has to predict exactly when they will be attacked, and even if they do so successfully, they are completely vulnerable on the next night because they have to restock their potions. Basic defense for a Neutral Killing is a necessity.

Other parts of the role that need changing:
- Incorporates Rampage, an extremely swingy and unbalanced mechanic.
- Shares an invstigative result with another Neutral Killing.

by doing that he would likely waste a killing night. besides, he can get killed randomly, others NKs could survive that but this role... well RIP
