spy will no longer see mafia and coven visits

spy bugs will now stay on target forever

change "your target" to "(player name)

when you bug everyone you can essentially see what happens to everyone each night. this makes spy continiously grow stronger with more information everyday like medium, but that is assuming that he lives long enough to bug everyone.

n7 night results could look like:

Giles Corey is roleblocked

Jeb is blackmailed and transported

Flod is killed by a Vigilante


and with this informaion you can find who is transporter and who is lying.

this also removes spy overpowered ability to see mafia and coven visits and still making him useful

Still dosen't help that bugging, as it is now, is useless. Just being able to see what happens to people each night and nothing else isn't important information. Usually people say
"I was witched"
"I was healed. Thanks doc!"
"I was roleblocked."
"I was transed."

Ect. Only a few of them are really all that useful.

this is an idea after bmg plans on doing sensible changes like silent transports and roleblocks

Silent transports I soppose I can understand, but it needlessly complicates investigative results.

Silent roleblocks are unessesary. A sherrif wouldn't get a result nor an investigator, it'd be obvious they were roleblocked.

no but it can fool lookouts or other similar roles and thats really important. these nerfs are to make it so quiet townies are punished more for not speaking up

People say that spy is OP, but honestly it's really not. The bugging ability is fucking horrible.

This rework makes spy one of the most useless roles in the game, so useless it's a citizen

Spy is a mess and should be removed, its disgusting how it makes framers useless, it can also Instently tell a Consort from a Escort, and learns 1-2 non Mafia most days, can find nk pretty easily

Just remove the role
