Alien Faction (I’ll add Color Later)

Alien Faction


Aliens don't have night chat
Aliens can be found by Sheriff
Their can only be 4 Aliens per game
All Aliens are Unique
The 6 Aliens are Scar, Doom, Grey, Smoke, Mercy and Glade.

Scar - Alien Chaos

Attack: Unstoppable
Defence: None
Priority: 1st

Abilities/Attributes:

During the night choose someone to Inject. Then they will receive this message “You have been Injected! Any talk out of you today and the Injection will kill you tonight, so keep your trap shut!”

Additional Information: this is NOT a chat blocker cause it still allows you to talk however. by doing so you will die the following night. Therefore you can still chat but at the risk of dying from it. Injection only lasts for that day.
Trail doesn’t count, thus the Injected person can talk freely if put up on trial.



Doom - Alien Chaos

Attack: Powerful
Defence: None
Priority: 1st


Abilities/Attributes:
During the night you can choose to either Check to see someones role or do nothing. If you choose to do nothing and someone visits you the night you do nothing, you will rise Doom.

Rising Doom -) Astral Kill 1 Player Each Night
(As in Killing their Visitors as well)



Grey - Alien Chaos

Attack: None
Defence: None
Priority: 1st

Abilities/Attributes:
Each night choose someone to Abduct role blocking them.

On the 3rd night and beyond when you Abduct someone they will gain this effect.

After their Abduction the next time they target someone they will deal a Basic attack to them instead

(Your target will not receive the Roleblock Notification)


Smoke - Alien Chaos

Attack: Basic
Defence: None
Priority: 1st

Abilities/Attributes
Each night choose someone to Immobilize and someone to Intoxicate.

If an Immobilized target gets visited by someone they get Roleblocked

When you Intoxicate someone, if they get visited by someone, deal a Basic attack to your target


You cannot Intoxicate someone who has been Immobilized.

So when you Immobilize someone you cannot ever choose them to Intoxicate, but you can Immobilize them multiple times (however it won't do anything cause Being Immobilize and Intoxicated is Permanent)


Mercy - Alien Chaos

Attack: Unstoppable
Defence: None
Priority: 1st

Abilities/Attributes:

During the night choose 2 targets.

If one of your targets gets lynched you will kill the other target during the following night and their death cannot be prevented.


Glade - Alien Chaos

Attack: Unstoppable
Defence: None
Priority: 1st


Abilities/Attributes
During the night target 2 players and flip their death (This ability will fail if the second target is an Alien)

If the First Target would die, the Second target dies instead.

(This Only Effects Night Death)

Hmm.
Scar is a chat blocker. It gives incentive not to talk. Sure, they can talk, but it means it is more powerful than a blackmailor. Voting anyone who is injected up on trial is dead, either from the lynch or the attack. I think that allowing people to speak during trial time is an idea. They still have limited time, and it can be faked, but at least they dont have a 100% chance of dying. You may point put that they may not be put on trial, but no town with half a brain would ignore a silent person.

Most of the other roles are a bit like a consort, relying on roleblocking and shadow walker style attacks, which lack control.

The last two are interesting. The first is a constant executioner. I doubt that it would succeed all that often, so you gave it an unstoppable attack. These types of things are very hard to predict, and luck possibly plays into the role more than I like. The other is a faction protector, but can cause chaos elsewhere. It is a bit like a no risk transpoter, with a 1/4 chance of targetting the right alien. Also, can it redirect alien attacks, like Mercy?

I dont find this all that bad. The roles can work together, but some work on similar gimmicks, which may need changing for versatility. Still, not bad at all for me at least
