Abilities:

-If your target dies their role and last will won't be revealed to the Town.

-You may only perform 3 cleanings.

I love the Janitor role, whether it's playing as them, or having one in game among your team. So I propose, this detrimental role to acquire a whole new arsenal of lies to cast deceit upon the Town of Salem.

1. I also would like to add to this: "You are immune to being doused." because you're a Janitor, your job is to CLEAN, so 'ergo; You're always clean (well aside from Detection). <=== Passive Attribute
   
2. Cleaning a Mafia Member will Clean them of Gas, however you will get no notification when a Mafia Member is Doused (You will get a Notification if/when you Clean them and they were Doused.)<=== Explanation (See 4.)
   
3. Cleaning a Mafia Member will also Clean them of their Suspicion. AKA Detection Immunity for that night; Lookout's, Sheriff's, Tracker's, Psychic's, Potion Master's, and Coven Leader's are affected adversely by your Cleanings upon a Mafia Member. Your Cleaned Mafia Members will also appear as their Town Counter-Part Roles: <=== Explanation Cont.(See 4.) Spoiler: Mafioso/Ambusher > Vigilante
   Mafioso(Mafia S/D Turned) > Veteran
   *GodFather > Crusader
   GodFather(Mafioso Turned) > BodyGuard

   Janitor(Not You) > Medium
   *Janitor(You by Transporter/Coven Leader) > Trapper
   Consort > Escort

   *Only for the Coven Expansion. For Non-Coven Expansion, it is the closest Town Role, to affected Role.
4. Cleaning a Mafia Member does not consume a Cleaning, UNLESS they were killed the same night. You may only Clean a Mafia Member ONCE.
5. Lookout's/Tracker's will not see if a Mafia Member A) Visited or, B) Went somewhere if they are Cleaned the same night. Psychic's will receive the vision they are Good during the night they were cleaned. Sheriff's will see them as NS if they were cleaned the same night they were intterogated.

Also why does this have to hard-counter TI roles.. also only Janitor viewing the role+will exists for a reason. The whole Mafia doesn’t need it. This is extremely overpowered.

Care to explain why people want to Buff the Retributionist? Arguably the most Powerful Town Role, aside from Jailor, Mayor and Transporter.

Your only as powerful as your Team my friend. Forger for example, albeit weak and vastly hated when alone, can be the most valuable/detrimental, if not the best, Mafia role with a functioning and good Mafia Team. If you're going to take things at face value, I would say Ambusher, Consigliere, and Hypnotist take the cake for the best Mafia Role's. The Janitor "Buff" is specif against one other role; Arsonist. It has side effects that adversely affect the Town and slightly hinders the Coven (This also does not affect the Investigator). I won't lie; The Janitor is an Extremely Powerful Role in the hands of the most accomplished Players. This can be said about ANY role though. To highlight this:

Care to explain your thoughts on how it's overpowered? As stated in another comment; It's specif against one other role: Arsonist. With the added benefit of adversely affecting the Town and slightly hindering the Coven. That's also why I included: THIS IS AN OPTIONAL ADDITION: ALL MAFIA SEEING AND READING CLEANED VICTIMS!
It only affects: Lookout's, Sheriff's, and Psychic's (PM's and CL's also). Not to mention it can only happen ONCE.

I agree with the cleaning a Mafia member , but as for all the mafias knowing the role and last will, that's unnecessary. Douse immunity, hardcounter to Arsonist and Investigative reworks is also unnecessary, since there are already a lot of Mafia Deception to fool them. Also the last point of appearing as counterparts, its already done in Disguiser.

Janitor does not need a buff, it's already the most powerful Mafia Deception in the game. Although cleaning one of your Mafia members would be an excellent buff, and would actually be pretty tactical too, it would make Janitor even more overpowered.

The Arsonist thing is totally inconsistent. If Janitor hard counters Arsonist, it should also hard counter the other Neutral Killings. But then no other Mafia Deception can even effect Neutral Killings. Plus, Arsonist is the weakest Neutral Killing, so it doesn't need to be nerfed more.

Janitor doesn't need a buff, Arsonist doesn't need a counter, Janitor shouldn't hide people from sheriffs.

Leave Janitor how it is, Mafia need to be its level to be good only Mafia supports and Janitor are currently good, why don't you talk about buffing Framer, Disguiser or Forger roles who bring the Mafia down
