New mafia support idea, the Negotiator

Alright, so, I had an idea for a new mafia support, which I'd like to hear opinions on, this is my first time making a role idea, so I'm sorry if it's not that good, huge thanks to Cut for giving me the lore for this, he helped a lot.


Role Name: Spoiler: Negotiator

Role Alignment: Spoiler: Mafia support
Abilities:
Spoiler: You may choose one person during the day to talk to at night

Attributes:
Spoiler: You may anonymously talk to your target.
Once a game, you can choose to reveal your targets role to the town the following morning.
Becomes Mafioso when Mafia Killing are dead.


Goal:
Spoiler: Kill anyone who won't submit to the mafia
Victory conditions:
Spoiler: Same as all other mafia

Special Attributes:
Spoiler: Unique role
Mafia chat


Investigative Results:
Spoiler: Sheriff - Your target is a member of the mafia.
Investigator - Your target could be a Spy, Blackmailer, Jailor, Guardian angel, or negotiator.
Consigliere - Your target negotiates on behalf of the mafia, they must be a negotiator.


Additional Information:
Spoiler: If the negotiator chooses to reveal his targets role to town, a message saying "A negotiator has revealed that (targeted player) is a (targeted players role)" will be shown at the start of the day.
Your target is not roleblocked, so the negotiator will not be killed by a serial killer or werewolf.
Your visit will not trigger a werewolf staying at home to kill you, or make a Medusa stone you, a veteran may still kill you though.
While you are talking to a target, you can not talk to the mafia, but you can still hear what they say.
A jailor will prevent you from talking to your target.
Your target will see if you're planning to reveal their role.


Lore: (Thanks to Cut for giving me lore, you can find a thread where he makes lore for different ideas here Spoiler: The Negotiator had always been able to talk his way out of any situation. The Godfather took notice of this one day when he was put on trial for the murder of one of the townspeople, with the Negotiator persuading all present to vote him innocent. He was taken to Jail that same night, but once again he was able to talk his way out of an execution, emerging from the Jail in one piece.

The Godfather waited for him outside alongside the Consort, and they talked the Negotiator into coming back to their Headquarters with them out of his own free will. After hours of talking, a contract was settled. The Negotiator would work for the Mafia in exchange for an incredible pay, sneaking over to potential client's houses every night in an attempt to get them to work with the Mafia.

The Godfather eventually began to doubt the effectiveness of the Negotiator after his Mafioso was hung by the town following the murder of a Sheriff, all of which had been observed by a Lookout. As he made his way home, the Godfather was attacked from behind and knocked out cold. He awake in a familar cell, with the shadow of the Jailor standing on the other side of the steel confines. "I know what you are, and you're going to die". The words echoed through the room, and, for the first time, the Godfather trembled in fear. The Jailor walked over to his gun and picked it up, aiming it at the Godfather.

It was at this very moment that the telephone started ringing, and the Jailor picked it up with his free hand. He stood there for a minute that felt like an hour before slamming down the phone. "You're free to go, Godfather." He said, unlocking the cell door and returning to his desk. The Godfather fled, observing the pale expression on the face of the Jailor as he sat lost in thought, head in his hands.

That was the first and only that the Godfather doubted the skills of the Negotiator.

Here's the problem.

Reveal townie's role to town: "Thanks mafia! Now we have a confirmed town member that we can all whisper claim too and win the fucking game! TP/LO stay on them!"

Reveal neutral's role to town: "Thanks mafia! Now we have a confirmed evil we can hang, then focus more on taking down the mafia!"

The only way this role is beneficial (since it doesn't even role block) is if you talk to someone and they reveal that they are NE/NB to you, but you won't actually know if they're lying or not unless you reveal them to the town... and then your potential ally is either hanged or rallied around.

It's a good idea on paper...until you realize it's just a guy who has invisible whispers and has a bit of leverage. Once. Better than say, the framer or forger, but still not good.

What's the point... The only way I can see this used in non coven gamemodes is to cordinate with the NB or NE.
In Coven it screws over PB, NK, and Coven.

It's true that it doesn't really do anything when there's no neutrals left, and I did think about the fact that it can't really do anything other than coordinate with neutrals and such, which is really situational, so I'd like to give it an ability to use the nights it doesn't talk to anyone, but I can't really think of anything it could do that other mafia roles can't already do, I'd like some suggestions for things it could do on non-negotiating nights, since I can't think of a unique ability that won't just make it a better version of another mafia role

Well, here's the thing, you're supposed to be careful when revealing roles, so you don't accidentally reveal a townie, the role obviously works best with a consig to tell you who's who, but even without one you could be able to deduce who is what, and try to coordinate with them, the risk of revealing a townie is very much intentional, and as for revealing neutrals, it's like deathnotes revealing who is immune, you don't always want to reveal that kind of information right away, but more toward mid-game, when mafia can kill enough people to not need NK anymore, or to give a mafia member in trouble one more day to avoid being hung


But yeah, I think it might be too weak atm, since it can't do anything except that, so any suggestions for changes to the ability/adding a night ability for when you don't negotiate would be nice, thanks for the feedback!

In general, I personally don't think this should be a thing at all because
1.This is sort of a consig but shows roles to everyone
2.Once you reveal peoples role and confirm them then the town will start seeing the certain people have not been reveal and for thoughs who have not been revealed and are not mafia something could confirm them without doubt so the people who are not reavealed AND are not confirmed are (Probably Mafia) probably going to be pushed and lynched because you confirmed the other players so you see how this can backfire?
