NEW FACTION: The Circus

Lore:
Spoiler: The Jester wants revenge. He wants revenge for the town not giving him his eternal wish, To be lynched. But he can't do it alone, So he gathered his buddies to come together in his new faction, The Circus!

The Circus is a faction made to cause pure chaos! Each of his pals has a unique ability that allows the Jester to get his long-wanted revenge on the town, And he might even get his wish granted in the process.

Join the lovable Jester and his friends in his new faction made to create pure insanity throughout the town, Will you survive The Circus?

Oh and don't forget....The show.

THE SHOW: The Show is a performance made by The Circus on Night 5 that strengthens the circus, It's an unforgettable show, But for all the wrong reasons.

Special stuff:
- Night chat and window showing circus members. (as usual)
- All Circus roles are unique, Both alignments.
- Win conditions are usual. Wins with witches, survs, etc.

Circus Lead

Ringleader

Summary: You are a crazed lunatic who's the leader of an insane team and has a life goal of being publicly executed.
Attack: Unstoppable | Defense: None

Abilities:
- Trick the town into voting against you and then haunt them.

Attributes:
- You may haunt a guilty voter on you the following night.
- Each night after the night you're lynched you may haunt someone.
- You gain basic defense when the show begins.
- If you are the last member of your team after the show, You may deal a basic attack to a player each night.

Goal: Cause chaos among the town and kill anyone who would oppose The Circus.

Investigation results:

Investigator: Your target is a Medium, Retributionist, Disguiser or Ringleader

Consigliere: Your target is the leader of the Circus and haunts others when dead, They must be the Ringleader.

Lore: A young jester, known to the town as simply stupid, Was constantly made fun of for being an idiot. He could never get himself lynched, no matter how hard he tried. And the harder he tried the less people would want to lynch him. He wanted revenge. Deep down, he hated them all. On one faithful night, He put up a circus in the center of the town, on the outside made seemingly only to entertain, But it hid a much darker secret. Townies from far and wide flocked in to the balooned colourful tent to see the mesmorizing performances organized by the fool.

The entire town had now came to see the amazing delight put on by the same young boy who was constantly ridiculed, But it wasn't over.

With a purely malicious, agonizing grin on his face as he walked towards the front row with a rope in hand. He pulled up the lynching stand that was once in the center of the town and threw the rope over the top. The music stopped and a gentle glow carried itself over to none other than the jester.

A noose in his hand, He pulled the loop over his neck and tightened it.

"Thankyou." He whispered as he dropped and choked himself to death.

The next morning, nobody walks out of their house. They were all haunted, dead. All of them. Not one soul left behind by the evil jester's haunt.

He finally got his wish.

Mime Artist
Spoiler: Alignment: Circus (Killing)
Summary: You are a silent artistic being who portrays their true desire without using words.
Attack: Basic | Defense: None

Abilities:
- Knock on the door of a player each night.

Attributes:
- If your target intended to visit you on that night you will deal them a basic attack.
- When the show begins, You will roleblock your target if they did not intend to visit you that night.
- Your roleblocked/killed target will not recieve notifications regarding anything else that happened to you that night.
- You will kill non-visiting roles by default.
- If you are the last member of your team after the show, You may deal a basic attack to a player each night.

Goal: Cause chaos among the town and kill anyone who would oppose The Circus.

Investigation Results:
Sheriff: Your target is a member of the Circus!

Investigator: Your target is an Escort, Ghost, Consort, Stalker or Mime Artist.

Consigliere: Your target knocks on the doors of others and is silent in their art, They must be a Mime Artist.

Lore: As a child, The Mime Artist was known as a bit of weirdo. His usual night involved going door by door and knocking. Whenever someone opened he would just smile at them with a horrifying smile. They would just stare back at him weirdly, after which they would slam the door on his face. He just wanted a friend. But nobody wanted to be friends with someone who barely talked.

When they fell asleep, He would grab a knife from the serial killer next door whom was one of his only friends and would stab them hopelessly until he could no longer hear them breathing. The next day, the guilt that fell over him caused him to be unable to say but a word. It felt so good but the regret grew and grew until the next night came, Where the desire for a friend returned.

Puppeteer
Spoiler: Alignment: Circus (Killing)
Summary: You are a masterful puppeteer with a knack for haunted dolls.
Attack: Unstoppable | Defense: None

Abilities:
- Give a player the haunted doll.

Attributes:
- The haunted doll is passed between people by someone visiting whoever possesses it. (The doll will be given at random but not to Circus members).
- If the doll fails to be passed on it's holder will die and you may choose a new target to give the doll.
- Players will not know that they have the doll and you will know who possesses the doll at all times.
- When the show begins, You can choose to give the doll to another player at any time.
- If you are the last member of your team, the doll holder will die regardless of if it's passed on or not.

Goal: Cause chaos among the town and kill anyone who would oppose The Circus.

Investigation Results:
Sheriff: Your target is a member of the Circus!

Investigator: Your target is a Doctor, Drug Dealer, Serial Killer, Amnesiac or Puppeteer.

Consigliere: Your target specializes in ominous puppets and dolls, They must be a Puppeteer.

Lore: When I was a little girl, My dear grandmama gave me a beautiful doll. She looked just like me, With beautiful blonde hair made from fabric and a collar red dress with button eyes. I remember my grandmama always warned me about the power this doll could have if it got into the wrong hands, So I needed to keep it safe at all times. Years passed, and the doll was fine. I slept with her every night, I took her everywhere with me and she became my closest friend.

Once my grandmama died, I went into a very dark place. I shut myself out from everyone around me and didn't talk to anyone. The only person who I talked to was the doll. I felt hopeless, I couldn't go on. I wanted everyone around me gone. I didn't want to live with all the horrible things that went on in the world anymore. I remembered what my grandmama had said about the doll before she passed. You know, About how the doll was really powerful if it got into the wrong hands and all that? Yeah. I got a plan. I threw the doll out onto the street. Sure I felt bad at first, But I knew she would do me well in the long term. Outside of my window from where I had thrown the doll I saw a young girl pick it up. "Mummy, mummy! She's so cute! Can I take her home?" I smiled, I wanted to see what happened next.

They picked up the doll and left. I felt so damn happy. I knew that my wish would soon be granted.

Later that day on the news, I heard of the same young girl dying from unknown causes. It was true, It was really true. Her mother had died minutes later, after she had picked up the doll to investigate it. She had then thrown the doll out.

My wish was granted, My beautiful little doll had gotten me what I had always wanted. I'm now happy. I've killed them all.

Summary: You are a skilled juggler who uses his smarts to conjour up strange effects.

Abilities:
- Choose a person to juggle at night.

Attributes:
- You kill your juggled target and gain their night ability for 1 night the following night.
- You cannot gain abilities from roles that can kill in any way.
- You can only juggle on odd nights but when the show begins, You can juggle every night.

Goal: Cause chaos among the town and kill anyone who would oppose The Circus.

Investigation Results:
Sheriff: Your target is Not Suspicious. (Before show)
Your target is a member of the Circus! (After Show)

Investigator: Your target is a Citizen, Sheriff, Jailor, Godfather, Executioner or Juggler.

Consigliere: Your target is skilled with juggling, They must be a Juggler.

Lore: My mother would always joke about me exiting her holding 3 coloured balls in hand and using them to juggle. I laughed at this at the time but the older I grew the more I believed it was true. I'm not joking. At age 14 I joined the local Salem Circus and had a small juggling act. You know the deal, balls, bowling pins, sticks. I grew to become addicted to the very simple act of a tossing a ball in the air and catching it with the other hand. It sort of became a habit.

The owner of the circus came up to me one day in the staff room after the show was over. He asked me to do something I would never have thought to do in my life.
To kill someone. My juggling was just what he needed to make his true dream come true. This of course shocked me at the time but I grew to like the idea. It became something I enjoyed doing. In the dark of night, I would go over to a house and either choke someone to death with a coloured ball or whack them in the head with the bowling pin. It felt good and I knew it would end up going towards a good cause.

Little did I know that this would lead me to becoming a member of the Circus and working for the Jester.

Face Painter
Spoiler: Alignment: Circus (Evil)
Summary: You are an artful painter of faces who uses their colours to create potentially horrifying looks.
Attack: Basic | Defense: None

Abilities:
- Paint someones face each night.

Attributes:
- Face paint lasts one night. (The night after it's put on)
- Your face painted target will have a different effect on it's visitors.
- Your face-paint can Kill, Roleblock, or Reveal whoever visited it's target.
- Your target will not know that their face has been painted.
- Your face paints have 3 night cool-downs but will no longer have cool-downs when the show begins.

Goal: Cause chaos among the town and kill anyone who would oppose The Circus.

Investigation Results:
Sheriff: Your target is Not Suspicious. (Before show)
Your target is a member of the Circus! (After Show)

Investigator: Your target is an Incarcerator, Malpractitioner, Slaughterer, Witch or Face-Painter.

Consigliere: Your target paints other people's faces. They must be a Face-Painter!

Lore: When the Face-Painter was at school, He always had a liking for painting and drawing, He was the artsy kid in class. The kid that would sit in the back and draw while the teacher was busy explaining quadratic equations and linear functions. A few other kids grew a taste for his art, And requested that he draw them pictures, He reluctantly obliged. I mean hey, He got paid for it.

When the Face Painter got into high-school, He was pretty much school-known for his amazing artistry. So for the annual school fair, He was asked to paint people's faces. He never had any experience with it of course, He only drew on paper. But he liked the sound of the idea and got to work.

A few hours after the fair had ended, And many had their faces painted in funny, cute or even scary ways. Some of the students began to exhibit strange behaviours. 1 student who got a creepy skeleton face-paint drawn on reported that anyone who looked him directly in the eye would die.

It was a strange power that he had, But when called on by the local Jester once the Circus was put up in town. It was later found that this young man would work for the circus as the Face-Painter.

Tightrope Walker
Spoiler: Alignment: Circus (Evil)
Summary: You are a daring tightrope walker who stealthily allows The Circus to get around easier.
Attack: Basic | Defense: None

Abilities:
- Tie a Tightrope between The Circus and player's house.

Attributes:
- Members of the circus can visit this players house Astrally; Safely and undetected.
- You can only have 1 tightrope out at a time.
- The first player who is not a member of The Circus to visit the player's house will fall off and die. (This will also destroy the rope and it will be done randomly if multiple people visit the player.)
- If you are the last member of your team when the show begins, You may choose to destroy the rope, strangling the player inside the house to death (By selecting yourself).

Goal: Cause chaos among the town and kill anyone who would oppose The Circus.

Investigation Results:

Sheriff: Your target is a member of The Circus!

Investigator: Your target is a Scientist, Fisherman, Janitor, Undertaker or Tightrope Walker.

Consigliere: Your target deals with ropes and balance. They must be a Tightrope Walker.

Lore: To make things clear, If you're about to ask me "Hey, Are you one of those kids that can like walk across the grand canyon on a tightrope?", Well sorry to burst your bubble, But no. I cannot walk across the grand canyon on a tightrope. I'm not that kind of kid.

When I decided to join the Circus, It immediately became apparent to me that I was going to do bad things. Evil things. This isn't a usual "Hey walk on this tightrope and make the audience go 'Ooooh!' and I'll pay you buckets" situation. This was more of a "Help us kill people more easily" situation.

I mean sure, If I was getting paid then why the hell not? I once ate a worm in 2nd grade for 10 bucks, Still don't regret it even today. I bought like 4 Twix bars with that kind of money.

Anyway, back to this whole ordeal. My tightropes apparantely allowed my fellow Circus friends (Ok, not friends, That juggler guy is really annoying.) to get from 1 place to another easier.

Seems boring, And yes, To make it clear it is. The only thing that made it all worthwhile was when some random guy tried to walk the tightrope, Falling to their firey death.

After a while I decided to have a bit of fun with it, When I was tired of seeing nobody die I decided to do so myself. I went into their house, Cut that tightrope and strangled them until the cows came home. God, it felt good.
Anyway, That's how I became a Tightrope Walkie. Tightrope Wal-- Wait what does that script say? Tightrope Walker. Now get this camera out of my face. I've gotta go walk across the grand canyon on a tightrope for youtube. That stuff pays good.

Lion Tamer
Spoiler: Alignment: Circus (Evil)
Summary: You are a passionate lion tamer who can captivate the audience for all the wrong reasons.
Attack: Varies || Defense: None

Abilities:
- Train your lion each night.

Attributes:
- It takes 2 nights to train your lion.
- Your lion gets more powerful after each time it is trained.
- If your lion disobeys you it will fail to kill and return home to you.
- At the basic level (With 1 time trained), Your lion will disobey you if anyone else visits your chosen target, and your lion will have a Basic attack if it obeys.
- At the 2nd level (With 2 time trained), Your lion will disobey you if anyone else visits your chosen target, your lion gains Rampaging attacks.
- At the 3rd level (With 3 times trained), Your lion will always obey you and his attack becomes Powerful.
- At the 4th level (With 4 times trained), Your lion will always obey you and his attack becomes Astral.
- When the show begins, Your training takes 1 night.

Goal: Cause chaos among the town and kill anyone who would oppose The Circus.

Investigation Results:
Sheriff: Your target is a member of The Circus!

Investigator: Your target is a Bodyguard, Firebrand, Forger, Electrician or Lion Tamer.

Consigliere: Your target has a pet lion that they tame to become more powerful, They must be a Lion-Tamer.

Lore: He's mauled me 8 times. That's probably the only question you had for me, So you can leave if that's what you wanted to know.

Anyway, to the story. When I was younger I had a pet cat, Ironically enough I named him Tiger. He was practically a brother to me, We did everything together. He would follow me around everywhere and I would share my lunch with him. (Looking back on it now that really is not healthy. Don't feed your pets human food, Kids.)

As I got older, I began to notice he got bulkier. I thought nothing of it at first but by the time I was around 14 or so, He was practically my size.

When we took him to the veterinarian, He said that this was a magical cat (Dear god that's cliche but life isn't always that exciting), He was turning into a lion. It's like puberty for cats but way cooler since you turn into a lion once it ends and not into a failure with lots of hair.

I grew a liking towards circuses. I would visit the local circus with my parents every week. It was so much fun, And of course Tiger would always be by my side. The Ringleader came up to me after the show.

"Hey kid, Nice lion of yours, I could use one of you fellas' for my show, You in?"

Obviously I said yes, I was getting to work at a circus! My lifelong dream for crying out loud!

I sent him out to kill people, as he asked, But he just came back. This confused me, Why didn't he kill?
I spent one night taming him carefully, It was a painful and tedious process, And 7 out of those 8 aforementioned mauls came from it. But before I knew it, When I sent him out the next night he was to and from in a matter of second, covered in blood and severed limbs.

Oh, so THAT'S why I'm called a Lion-tamer, Because I tamed a lion. Hah, nice gag.

Summary: You are a loveable joker who can open communications with others in new and unexpected ways.
Attack: None | Defense: None

Abilities:
- Prank someone each night.

Attributes:
- Your prank will show that you visit someone but with no effect.
- If you die, You will show in the graveyard as the role of the last person you pranked.
- Once per game while alive, You may project a prank during the day, Which allows you to talk anonymously in bold, red text to the entire town.
- On one night after death of your choice you may talk to your circus members.
- When the show begins, You gain an extra projection and communication with your circus members when dead.
- If you are the last member of your team, Your prank deals an Astral and Basic attack.

Goal: Cause chaos among the town and kill anyone who would oppose The Circus.

- The night following (Full-moons), Anyone who visits either of your targets will also do their ability on the other.
- When the show begins, You can make houses dissapear every night.
- If you are the last member of your team, You deal a basic attack to the player whom's house you make dissapear.

Goal: Cause chaos among the town and kill anyone who would oppose The Circus.

UPDATE 1:
- Changed Mime Artist so that instead of being blackmailed after a kill the roleblocked/killed target will not recieve notifications about anything that happened to them that night. (thanks to oOYuuArtSuiOo for the suggestion)
- Added lore for Juggler
- Remove anything related to The Show as it's a WiP and it felt too similar to the Necronomicon. (again thanks to oOYuuArtSuiOo)

- New role, The Face-Painter. Let me know what you think!
- Changed "The Show" so that it now Nerfs the Circus. Let me know if you suggest removing this, turning it back to normal or changing it in any way. I'm also considering making it temporary so I would love feedback on it. (thanks to xXIllegalPotatoXx)
- Added basic special stuff.
- I'm considering splitting the faction into 2 alignments. Circus(Killing) and Circus(Support). Circus killing are the usual roles. Circus support are roles that don't essentially just kill, Like the Juggler and Face-Painter. Let me know what you think about this.

Update 3:
- Reversed The Show abilities. It now occurs on Night 5. The members will start off weaker than before and then become their standard level when it begins. This is to help balance. (Thanks to Mystoc and xXIllegalPotatoXx for help with this)
- Renamed Circus Master to Ringleader. (Thanks to xXIllegalPotatoXx for the suggestion)
- I'm considering having the circus in-game have some day effects too. xXIllegalPotatoXx suggested this and I like the idea but I worry it'd be too overpowered. Perhaps when the show begins? I'll work on it and might add it in the next update.
- Let's not forget the new role, The Tightrope Walker! (Thanks to Mystoc for the suggestion.)

Update 4:
- Changed Ringleader, Mime Artist and Tightrope Walker so they can now kill more easily if they happen to be the last member of the team.
- Nerfed Face-Painter so the different types of Face-paints have cooldowns. (similar to PM)
- Changed the Investigator results to fit the TG ones since I'm considering sending this faction to the TG mods.
- The Show now occurs on Night 6.
- Added a new concept: The Magical Objects! These are items each member of the circus has that takes effect during the day and can be used once per game. Face-Painter and Tightrope Walker currently don't have them but will be added soon. Let me know what you think.
- I've added 2 fairly basic role lists with the current roles for Circus Classic and Circus Ranked (Practice). These are very much experimental and may be removed or changed alot.

- Thanks guys so much for almost 250 views! I'm just some random 13 year old kid who likes Town of Salem who made a faction and it means alot to me that you guys are giving it so much love! So to celebrate, I'm introducing the fun new 7th role..... The Lion-Tamer!! (Thanks to Mystoc for the concept)
- Made The Show on Night 5, If I had a literal dollar for everytime I changed the fucking show i swear to god BUT MOVING ON
- Added magical objects for our fellow Face-Painter and Tightrope-Walker! Let me know what you think.
- I'm unsure whether it should take 1 or 2 nights to train your lion (or possibly have it go by kills but that'd be to similar to Jugg), Let me know what you think is better. The whole taming thing is in general dodgy and I'd like feedback on it's balance.
- I've also made it so the magical objects cannot be used on Days 1-4, This is so that town can vote uniterrupted while they still have majority, which is very important.

Update 6:
- Quick update here, Changed OP so that it now fits the new Circus(Support) alignment, Role lists and headings and such.
- It now takes Lion tamer 2 nights to train a lion but will only take 1 night once the show begins, I also changed it so they now have different powerups after each training.
- Remove Magical Objects, no particular reason for this. I just didn't really think they would work and I didn't want them to be part of the faction, You can argue to me about this in the comments.

Update 7:
- Added the first 2 Circus Support roles! They go by Prankster and Magician, Would love some feedback on them! More support roles will be coming.
- Changed Lion Tamer so that it now no longer relies on rng, It will mostly just get more powerful attacks as you train the lion but on 1 and 2 times trained it'll disobey if anyone else visits the target. I'm really looking for feedback on this so let me know what you think.
- Slight fixes in fonts, colours and bold lining and all that boring stuff. Not too drastic.
- Made Ringleader into it's own alignment, Circus(Lead). No other roles will be in it though, It's just to differentiate slightly. Let me know if you'd like me to revert this back.
- Added a new role list! "Leaders Rule." A Chaos game mode where it's Mafia VS Circus VS Town and if the leaders of each faction die the whole rest of the faction will commit suicide. Let me know what you think.

Mime Artist > Nerfed Veteran that gets bm'd once they kill... Too revealing/Too easy to find

the Circus Master is supposed to be a buffed jester. In the same sense that a Coven Leader is a buffed Witch.

Mime Artist needs a couple of changes, But I think the concept and the inability to talk could be open to strategies, So I want to keep the overarching theme of being a mime.

The Puppeteer is nothing like any of those roles, It's a completely different role. It doesn't involve visiting people, It involves something that isn't in your control being used to kill.

The Juggler is indeed a basic killer but the Amne is only one night, I think it's a pretty interesting role. But I do think I could add something to make it more unique and more of it's own thing.

How about that the Juggler can juggle a number of balls? If he juggles 1 ball, he can either get a self- heal (You can sfill die by WW) or an astral visit. If he juggles 2 balls, then he can get 2 self-vest (You will die but kill the attacker) or 1 night immunity. And if he juggles 3 balls, he can get a basic attack with astral visit or a powerful attack. All the effects only take effect after the night you juggled.


Also, dont make 'The Show' as a 'give buff to all friendly'. It technically creates a 'Necronomicon Effect' where it buffs all Coven members. Make it something else, something creative like, there will be random effects that will be done to all Townies except Circus members. Like they will be framed or they will br all bm'd or they will be all rb'd.

The Mime Artist change is actually a very good idea and I'll change that.

I don't think the Puppeteer is as bad as you think it is. It's can involve alot of strategy using whispering others to see if you want a specific person to get the doll or you can try baiting people not to visit the person with the doll so they die.

It's not like many killing roles that make you click a button and poof, they're dead. The whole challenge and fun of the role is not knowing where the doll is going or who it's killing. You send the doll out into the town and let it do it's own damage.

The Juggler is a nice concept but I think it's a bit overly complex, I won't outrule the change completely but for now I'll keep juggler as it is.

The Mafia has the promotion mechanic and the coven has the necronomicon to prevent the faction from getting five kills in a night. This has none. They can easily wipe out the entire town in three nights. Also has no deception roles. /don'treallysupport

Update 2:
- New role, The Face-Painter. Let me know what you think!
- Changed "The Show" so that it now Nerfs the Circus. Let me know if you suggest removing this, turning it back to normal or changing it in any way. I'm also considering making it temporary so I would love feedback on it. (thanks to xXIllegalPotatoXx)
- Added basic special stuff.
- I'm considering splitting the faction into 2 alignments. Circus(Killing) and Circus(Support). Circus killing are the usual roles. Circus support are roles that don't essentially just kill, Like the Juggler and Face-Painter. Let me know what you think about this.

I really like the idea actually!

In my opinion, I feel the Executioner could play a fun role in the Circus team as well. I'm not too sure what it would be like, but I strongly believe the Jester and Executioner have always fit well together.


Most of the roles are pretty creative in my opinion. I think for the most part, their effects are pretty fair in the setting of them being in their own rolelist. It's neat.

Ways to add less kills to the Circus...
Give the Circus more of an effect in the day. For example, the Mime could prevent people from voting, Dollmaker can speak through the body of whoever hold the puppet, Face Painter changes roles, etc.
Make most kills revolve around the show. Make the show occur at N5 or 6 and make it so anyone the Circus visit is invited to the show. Anyone that attends is dealt a basic attack, unless healed, roleblocked, protected, jailed, or pirated. The show doesn't occur if all the Circus is dead. Remove all other killing abilities except that of the Circus Leader(why not just the Ringleader?), and make it so if the Ringleader dies at night, someone becomes the Ringleader.

i usually avoid factions because i just don't like to much work reviewing and are basically impossible to balance

the only faction i have truly ever liked and think is balanced is gooses cult faction most are just too hard to make fair or romelty balanced in Kills per night ect..

so be clear people aren't promoted to circus master after he dies right? i mean if yes how can i circus run without a leader? just saying im a lore nerd :P

i do like you tried to make a cool concept OP early game nerfed after n4 unquie aproach for that i give you kudos

thing late game isnt just defined by the day it is its defined by the amount of people alive too. the less people alive the less suspects there are and the easier it is to get info on those alive and find evils

if the circus reaches this state after n4 they will be severely gimped with their kills rates and less abilities , this why usually its the other way around where you gain strength let game but are weak late game. this let game problem is why i think the faction won't' work

consider reversing it so they start weak and get more powerful. i mean think about it they did their earned mad money and are in can now focus on other things besides preparing for the show so it kinda makes sense they would get stronger not weaker

the concept of some the roles is very cool which i appreciate i'm not gonna really comment on the balance of them atm maybe later

the problem with all roles being able to kill is you have to their kill conditions be hard to do otherwise they are getting 4 kills a night which obv is OP, very hard to balance

if you are gonna make support roles that cant always kill you need to have way they gain kill potential when they last alive

tightrope walker (maybe they connect tight roops to the homes of which lets the circus get around easier/stealther in some way

oshit ive been waiting for mystoc to give feedback on the faction

thanks for the suggestions though

im considering reversing the attributes before and after the show (like the face painter before the show can only paint on full moons and then the show starting can let them do so nightly instead of the opposite. )

I do like your ideas concerning day abilities as this is a circus after all and the day isnt the only time they should cause chaos :p

in short posts in role ideas don't count has posts for some reason and i only post in role ideas so yea, the 2 posts i have are from role ideas too but there were right before they changed the role idea section not counting thus i only have two posts forever 8-)

also i'm digging how each role is unique and feels new

the hardest part to balance is the kills per a night

you have to decide what combo of role can appear in group 4
and would balanced i do think you need a town killing alignment cause 4 role who can kill would unbalanced

what is role list you would be picturing if there was alignments like 2 tk 2 support?

I love the idea, but I do think the most amount of kills a faction should have is 1 per night. However, as this is a cool list of roles and a nice idea, I think that after the 'Show', they should get more kills, but less to no defense for them to mop up everyone who's left while also giving NKs a chance.

The whole KPN is probably the biggest reason his faction feels incomplete.

Ringleader can only kill after it gets hung I might want to change that so it can do a basic attack per night if it's the last on the team.

The Mime Artist is fairly alright but I'll need a way for it to kill late game so it's not just "ok nobody visit so nobody dies." Problem,

In the next update I'll try to change the roles so that they aren't horribly overpowered early game but still have a chance late game.

I'm also planning to make the show on night 6 and I'm also adding a little extra twist that'll take effect during the day. ;)

This game mode sounds really fun and unlike any of the other game modes we have. Well done! I can see this becoming a really popular (And surprisingly balanced) game mode, let's just hope it doesn't become another DLC if they make it though... ;-;

Also, I suggest to keep the update sentences a bit short. Maybe also change the update itself into dates? That would be more appreciable to the eye. Making updates very long hits OCD people.

E.G:
2/28/18 = Changed Mime Artist (Thanks to [Player Name])

That would make your role idea post more neat for other players.
