The Betrayal Expansion Pack
Just a quick side note before you begin reading, I know I have most likely screwed the font color for some roles. I am colorblind, whether you choose to hold this against me or not is your option but anyways continue reading.

The Betrayers Roles
Goal: Kill all those who would oppose you.
Wins with: Betrayers, Witches, Survivors, Guardian Angel, Pirates and Poltergeists.

Captain (Betrayers Evil)
Spoiler: Role name: Captain

Role Alignment: Betrayers

Attributes: Leader of a group of betrayers.

Abilities:
Take a player on board you're ship by selecting the day icon.
You can talk to the player and decide whether .

Special Attributes:
You can choose to leave the player on a deserted island or transfer back to land.
You can only have 1 player on a deserted island at a time.
You may transfer a player back to home land.
After 1 or 2 nights of being on the island the player will starve to death. (after being dropped off)
After a players death, their will is taken appearing as a blank page.

Investigative Results:
Investigator: Spy, Blackmailer, Jailor, Guardian Angel or Captain. (why is guardian angel in this slot now?)
Consigliere, Witch/Coven Leader: You're target likes to drag people onto his ship. They must be a captain.

Additional information (comments):
Messages displayed to the player:
"You have been taken onboard the captains ship."
If your let off "The captain has decided to let you live"
"The captain has left you on a deserted island."
"The captain has brought you back to salem."
If you die: "He/She was starved to death on an island."
While on board the ship, you can still perform your night ability.

Achievements:


Assassin (Betrayers Killing)
Spoiler: Role Name: Assassin

Role Alignment: The Betrayers

Attributes: The right hand man of the captain.

Abilities: At every odd night choose someone to attack. On every even night you will attack the person.

Special Attributes:
If someone visits the person you attacked during the night you will learn the role but not their name.

Investigative Results:
Investigator: Doctor, Disguiser, Serial Killer, Potion Master or Assassin
Consigiliere, Witch or Coven Leader - Your target hunts people down. They must be an Assassin.
Sheriff: Your target is a betrayer.

Additional Information (comments):
Day message displayed upon a persons death - "He/She was hunted down by an assassin."

Achievements: None for the time being


Igniter (Betrayers Deception)
Spoiler: Role Name: Igniter

Role Alignment: The Betrayers

Attributes: Enjoys placing charged traps at someones house that ignite to kill any one who visits.

Abilities:
Leave a charge at someones house
You have 2 - 3 charges.

Special Attributes:
When this charge is activated, anyone who visits the person at night will be killed by the charge.
After that night, the charge will no longer be active. However if a retributionist tries to revive him the following
message will be displayed "The Retributionist attempted to revive you but you bursted into flames."

Investigative Results:
Investigator: Vigilante, Veteran, Mafioso, Pirate, Ambusher or Igniter.
Consigliere, Witch or Coven Leader: Your target likes to place charged traps. They must be an Igniter.
Sheriff: Your target is a betrayer.

Additional Information (comments):
This role requires alot of strategy and has to be used wisely.
The day message displayed upon a persons death will be - "He/She was ignited by a trap"
The retributionist will keep his/her ability

Achievements: None for the time being


Ninja (Betrayers Deception)
Spoiler: Role name: Ninja

Role Alignment: The Betrayers (Deception)

Attributes: You are a master of deception.

Abilities:
First Ability - Select yourself or another person. (only 2 uses)
If the person dies at night you will remove his will from the body.
You may read the persons will at any time.

Second Ability - Select someone during the day (only 2 uses)
You have the ability to protect yourself using another person.
If you are attacked the person will die. (Can still be protected)
If you are investigated you're results will appear as the persons.

Investigative Results:
Investigator: Lookout, Forger, Amnesiac, Coven Leader or Ninja.
Consigliere, Witch/Coven Leader: Your target is a master of deception. They must be a Ninja.

Achievements:


Soldier (Betrayers ?)
No information for the Soldier available.


Town Roles:
Wins with: Town, Survivors, Pirate and Guardian Angels.
Goal: Must kill mafia, coven, serial killers, witches, werewolves, arsonists, juggernauts, Vampires PlagueBearer/Pestilence and Poltergeists

Knight (Town Killing)
Spoiler: Knight (Town Killing)
Role Name: Knight

Role Alignment: Town

Attributes: You are a knight in shining armour.

Abilities:
Choose to kill someone at night.
If you kill a townie, you will be unable to use your sword for the next 2 nights.
If you kill a mafia, coven or betrayer you will be able to use your sword again.

Special Attributes:
You have one shield. Once used will give you basic defense for the night.

Investigative Results
Investigator: Bodyguard, Godfather, Arsonist, Crusader or Knight
Consigliere, Witch or Coven Leader: Your target wears shining armour. They must be a knight.

Additional Information (comments):
This concept may not be kept.

Achievements: (Removed for the time being)


Priest (Town Protective)
Spoiler: Role Name: Priest

Role Alignment: Town Protective

Attributes: (still in progress)

Abilities:
Choose 2 targets at night.
Your first target will be given invincible defence because technically he cannot be attacked.
Your second target will be dealt the damage of the attack if your target is attacked.

Special Attributes:
Gives invincible defense.
Has the ability to save important roles.

Investigative Results
Investigator: Your target is a Lookout, Forger, Amnesiac, Coven Leader or Priest.
Consigliere, Witch or Coven Leader: Your target grants people defence. They must be a priest.

Additional Information (comments):
Your defence leaves your target if you die.
You may choose to select a different target at night.
Message given if attacked: 'You were attacked but someone granted you defence.'

Achievements: (none)



Neutral Roles

Wizard (Neutral Chaos)
Spoiler: Role Name: Wizard

Role Alignment: Neutral Chaos

Attributes: A power hungry wizard who will eliminate all in his path to rule the world.

Abilities:
Choose to either charge a lightning spell on cloudy nights or perform a fire spell on odd nights.
A lightning spell take one night to charge. On the next night you may choose two targets to die no matter what.
(even if you die). (the attack will commense on night 3). On the third night you can select which one target to do
a chained lightning attack if anyone visits that person and will therefore kill both targets and anyone that visits
one of the players.
Choosing a lightning spell is astral (none visiting).
By selecting no one on night 2 of your lightning spell you are able to save it and create a water spell.
Both spells perform a powerful attack.
The water spell takes two days to prepare rather then 3 like the lightning spell.
You may choose to create a water spell instead of a lightning spell night 1.
Thhe water spell will surround a targets house in a whirlpool, killing whoever visits the target except for the
target itself.
The wizard is able to cast this around his house.
While preparing for a you have basic defence.

Goal: Kill all those who would not bow down to you.

Wins with: Wizards, Survivor, Pirate, witches, Guardian Angel and Poltergeists

Special Attributes:
Has basic defence.
Detection immune.
Roleblock immune.

Investigative Results:
Investigator: Lookout, Forger, Amnesiac, Coven Leader or Wizard.
Consigliere, Witch or Covenleader: Your target uses his power in magic to conquer the world. They must be a wizard.
Sheriff: Your target is not suspicious.

Additional Information (comments):
This role can be changed if needed.
Day message if someone dies to a water spell: He/She drowned in a whirlpool.
Day message if someone dies to a lightning spell: He/She was electrocuted by lightning.

How about making the Igniter instead of being able to kill independently he has to choose to target the person that is going to die. Also for each person that visited the target costs one ignite charge. Also maybe make it where instead of igniting the target it only ignite if a person visited.

I was also sort of thinking you could have a Retributionist interaction, if the dead person has a ignite charge on him but didn't get visited when he died, the ignite stays. Then when he comes back alive he would get this message. "The Retributionist attempted to revive you but you bursted into flames."

Sorta figured I'd have some fun with this.

The Betrayers
Spoiler: -The Captain is the Godfather, and the Assassin is the Mafioso.
-The Igniter is a Janitor that kills.
-The Ninja is a Consigliere, Blackmailer, and Consort mixed into 1 role.
-And the Soldier is a slower killing, Serial Killer.

The main problem with this faction is that all of the roles in it, are currently existing. Also, they can potentially have 3 kills at night, which is overpowered.


Town and Neutrals
Spoiler: -The Knight is a Vigilante with a powerful attack, and can kill multiple townies.
-The Wizard is a buffed Serial Killer
-The Poltergeist is a Neutral (Evil) Framer.

A problem with the Knight is that it has a powerful attack, Vigilantes only have a Basic attack, and that is to keep them from killing Neutral (Killing) roles. The Jailor has an unstoppable attack, but the Jailor is the leader of the town and is overpowered anyways.

The Wizard is a Serial Killer on odd nights, but gains a powerful attack on full-moon nights. This is not needed since it is so similar to Serial Killer.

The Poltergeist will be useless most of the time (Like Framer). The best part about this role is confusing Town Protectives, it won't be that useful though because the killers and Poltergeist do not know who each other are.
