New Lawful Evil faction - The Kleptocracy (9 Roles)

Just a note and some fun trivia - Kleptocracy means a corrupt government according to wikipedia and we ALLLL know how trusty that information is... Anyway let's get into the actual Post!

The backstory -
All of these characters used to be figures of political power and were envied by all. Rich, famous and corrupt; They all formed a group called the Kleptocracy society and performed illegal actions to take out their competitors like murder and "accidents", They were exposed for this and they all fled the country in favour of starting again small at a new town, thus they entered Salem. A newly developing town whom seemed to need a better leader than their mayor. They decided to take over salem with their old methods of murder and trickery.

What makes it unique -
This faction isn't as simple as the other factions. The roles are not as unique as lots of other suggestions on this forum however the method the Kleptocracy uses to gain power mainly relies on the lynching system. There are some killing roles but the lynching system is its main weapon.

How it works -
The kleptocracy is a very special kind of evil faction. When the game starts they have the usual list where it says the people in their evil faction however their names are not there and they cannot talk. They dont know who each other are but they know eachothers roles. This is all debatable, I'm not sure if it should be like the mafia or unique, its very much undecided.
This should be a poll... Ill add that.

Wins with -
You win with Survivors
You must Kill Mafia
You must Kill Coven
You must Kill Pestilence
You must Kill Witch
You must kill arsonist
You must kill Serial killers
You must kill Vampires
You must kill most town
You may spare anyone else.

You can win with town -
Kleptocracy can win with the town but its a bit odd. To win the kleptocracy must have ridden salem of all town killing and town protective roles. You must also kill the mayor. Your population must be more than the entire town combined. This is also debatable weather to make it this or just kill all town.

The roles -
These need alot of balancing ^-^

Regardist - Kleptocracy (Killing)
Spoiler: A deputy that was fired from his position following a murder case looking to take his rage out on salem.
Attack: Unstoppable
Defense: None

Abilities:
- Select someone to decide their fate and when they die.

Attributes:
- You may select up to 3 days in advance for when they die.
- targeted players are informed that they are cursed and when they will die. This cannot be stopped.
- After someone dies you cannot poison another player for 1 night.

Despot Buff:
- With the despot the players are no longer informed.

Investigative Results:
Investigator - Your target is either a Doctor, Regardist, Disguiser, Serial Killer, or Potion Master.
Consigliere - Your target is secretly using slow acting poison on his targets! he must be a Regardist.



Chancellor - Kleptocracy (Killing)
Spoiler: A private investigator who was accused of using information to extort and blackmail people in small communities for monetary gain.
Attack: Powerful
Defense: None

Abilities:
- Investigate someone at night to find out their deepest secret.
- Daytime: Release all the secrets of a person!

Attributes:
- Investigating someone adds them to your list of people in the daytime list.
- Players will know they have been investigated by a Chancellor.
- After someones secrets have been released they will die in 2 nights of suicide.

Special Attributes:
Secrets cannot be stopped.

Despot Buff:
- Your target will die in 1 night after the release of the secrets!

Investigative Results:
Investigator - Your target could be an Spy, Blackmailer, Jailor, Abstractor, Chancellor or Guardian Angel.
Consigliere - Your target has other peoples secrets, they must be a Chancellor!



Abstractor - Kleptocracy (Killing)
Spoiler: A failed jailor banished from the legal system wanting revenge on all whom have done him wrong.
Attack: None
Defense: None

Abilities:
- Kidnap someone at night and drag them into your basement. They will stay there for day and night.

Attributes:
- You may only kidnap up to 2 people at one time, they can talk to each other and you if you are home.
- If they are in the basement through the day they will not be announced missing but they will not show up at day. They can talk at day and you cannot hear their chat.
- You may execute someone if they are disobedient at night.
- missing players don't disappear from the list of alive players. If the missing are investigated it tell the investigator "nobody's home."
- If you are investigated, roleblocked or jailed while a person is in your basement they are freed. This also happens with death to the Abstractor.
- If you have two targets at night they can choose to fight or not, if their combined attack is higher than powerful defence you will be killed.

Despot Buff:
- Your kidnapped targets are bound and gagged, they no longer can talk while you are out nor can they try to fight back.

Investigative Results:
Investigator - Your target could be an Spy, Blackmailer, Jailor, Abstractor or Guardian Angel.
Consigliere - Your target has a reinforced chamber in their house, they must be a abstractor.

Additional Information (comments):
This is not a hard jailor counter as its easily identifiable.



Briefer - Kleptocracy (Support)
Spoiler: A ex-fashion designer whom fled after being found out for making clothes out of human skin.
Attack: None
Defense: None

Abilities:
- Stalk someone at night.

Attributes:
- If your target dies, you assume their name, role, skin and position.
- Your original body will be dead and it will be labeled as suicide. A will will not be shown.
- You can only stalk thrice.
- If you are investigated you will be seen as the person you took overs role.
- If you hop from body one body to the other, the first bodies will will be shown.

Despot Buff:
- You gain the ability to attack someone every 3rd night, and jump into their body.

Investigative Results:
Investigator - This person could be an <Ehhh>
Consigliere - This person is not what they are! They are a Briefer



Despot - Kleptocracy (Support)
Spoiler: The leader of the corrupt Kleptocracy bound on ruling salem.
Attack: None
Defense: Basic

Abilities:
- Daytime: Choose whether to reveal as despot.
- Night: Bribe someone to not vote the next day.

Attributes:
- Revealing will announce to the town that you have revealed as the despot, You need atleast 5 votes to be lynched unless the current number of votes is above 5.
- Your vote will count as 3 after revealing.
- Bribed players will know they are bribed, they can still talk.
- Revealing as despot buffs the entire kleptocracy.

Special Attributes:
- Roleblock immune
- After revealing you may not be whispered to.

Despot Buff:
- You are the despot. Do you really think you get a buff from this. Unless you count that vote thing.

Investigative Results:
Investigator - Your target is an Investigator, Consigliere, Mayor, Tracker, Despot or Plaguebearer.
Consigliere - Your target is secretly paying off people, They must be a despot!




Counterfeit - Kleptocracy (Support)
Spoiler: A businessman who produced counterfeit coins to cheat his way towards being a powerful leader.
Attack: None
Defense: None

Abilities:
- Decide how to portray someone's death
- Plant a fake role on them.

Attributes:
- You may change the announcement of how they died to anything that already exists in the game. Eg. Stabbed by a serial killer.
- You may decide what your target's role will be announced as. You will know the real role.
- You will wipe their will.
- You may only use your ability thrice.

Despot Buff:
- You gain the ability to rewrite their will.

Investigative Results:
Investigator - Your target is either an Lookout, Forger, Amnesiac, Counterfeit or Coven Leader.
Consigliere - Your target is most definitely a Counterfeit!


Vindicator - Kleptocracy (Investigative)
Spoiler: A ex-judge whom thought it was fun to ruin peoples lives by accusing them of witchcraft.
Attack: None
Defense: None

Abilities:
- Investigate a dead person at night night.
- Investigate 3 alive players at night.

Attributes:
- If you investigate a dead person you get a list of all the people whom have visited that person in a random order.
- If you investigate a alive person once you get a list of alignments they could be, If you investigate them two times you get their exact alignment and on the third time their exact role. If they are kleptocracy you find out on the second night.

Despot Buff:
- You can now get to the second stage of investigation on the first investigation.

Investigative Results:
Investigator - Your target is a Sheriff, Executioner, Werewolf, Vindicator or Poisoner.
Consigliere - Your target is secretly working with the kleptocracy, they are a vindicator!

Your target just wants to do their thing - Town (Support) Neutral (Benign) Town (Protective)
Your target is a great liar - Mafia (Deception) Kleptocracy (Support) Neutral (Killing)
Your target is very chaotic - Coven (Evil) Neutral (Evil) Neutral (Chaos)
Your target is blood thirsty - Town (Killing) Mafia (Killing) Kleptocracy (Killing)
Your target is Inquisitive - Town (Investigative) Kleptocracy (Investigative) Mafia (Support)
2nd Investigation results -
Your target is Kleptocracy!
Your target is (Certain role alignment)
3rd Investigation results -
Your target is most definitely a (Role)


Eavesdropper - Kleptocracy (Investigative)
Spoiler: A failed inventor who wants to be successful, he turned towards the kleptocracy for help.
Attack: None
Defense: None

Abilities:
- Plant a listening device into a players house.
- Combust a listening device.

Attributes:
- A listening device will tell you who they visit, what they say (if they can) and everything of the sort.
- You may only have 2 listening devices at a time.
- If you combust a listening device the person whom is living above it is made aware of its presence, it disables the device and gives it back.

Despot Buff:
- Combusting a device roleblocks the player with it for one night.

Investigative Results:
Investigator - Your target is either a Survivor, Vampire Hunter, Witch1, Medusa, Eavesdropper or Psychic.
Consigliere - Your target is planting listening devices in others homes!


benumbed - Kleptocracy (Support)
Spoiler: A simple bartender who is friends with the Despot.
Attack: None
Defense: None

Abilities:
- Intoxicate your target

Attributes:
- Your target will not receive notifications of what happened to them during the night
- Your target will not be able to talk in chat. If they are put on the lynch whatever they say will be turned into a string of random numbers and letters.
- Your target will not be able to use their night ability.
- Intoxication lasts 1 day and 1 night.
- You may only Intoxicate thrice.

Despot Buff:
- You can now intoxicate someone two times in a row to kill them.

Investigative Results:
Investigator - Your target is a Sheriff, Executioner, Werewolf, benumbed, or Poisoner.
Consigliere - Your target is drugging civilians! They are a benumbed!

- Balance this massively.
