Hey, its your boy Hdsn here back again with another trash Mafia role concept. Forgive me if this one has been suggested before, I can't find the list of already suggested roles.

So, I know what you're thinking just looking at the title. 'Oh, God, it's a Mafia Killing. What is he doing?' Well your fears have been realised, this role MIGHT allow the Mafia to have more than one kill at night! BUT! It comes with significant drawbacks. So without further ado, here he is:

Spoiler: Name: Heavy

Alignment: Mafia KILLING

The Heavy cannot exist in a game where a Mafioso already exists, and vice versa.
Mafia members cannot promote into the Heavy role.

Abilities:
Kill someone and their visitors at night.

Attributes:
You will be informed if any of your targets are immune.
If you kill more than one person in a night, then you and the Godfather must cover your tracks the next night.
Whilst covering your tracks, yours and the Godfather's investigative results change, you lose Bite Immunity, and cannot perform your night ability.
The Godfathers immunities are unaffected by laying low but he cannot kill.

Spec Attributes: None.

Invest:
Your target is not afraid to get their hands dirty. They could be a Bodyguard, Godfather, Arsonist, or Heavy. (Usual)
Your target is trying to cover up their crimes. They must be the Heavy or the Godfather! (Covering your tracks)

Consig:
Your target takes no prisoners. They must be the Heavy!

Sheriff:
Your target is a member of the Mafia! (shows for GF the night after a Heavy multi-kill also)

Comments:
The idea of this role is to bring some much needed variety to the killing side of the Mafia. Giving him the ability to kill multiple people brings some distinct panic and a reluctancy amongst Town to visit high priority roles, whilst the cooldown where the Mafia cannot kill means that it is not overpowered (similar to Werewolf).
Immunities are open to discussion, I keep erring between having him night immune (with some drawback) and not.
A friend I showed this to suggested that after a Heavy's second multi-kill, he becomes a Mafioso (for sake of balance).


Feel free to flame my idea, I just found the GF/Mafioso every game boring af ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

In essence, it gets a night of werewolf level kill, but suffers significant drawbacks after that. But yeah, that's the general gist of it.

Maybe make it not kill all visitors, maybe 1 or 2? (can be random selected like when a bg target is attacked twice one of the 2 attackers will be randomly killed or when jester dosn't pick guilt

I'll see what others think, because I think making both him and the Godfather weak to TIs for the night after is enough of a drawback. I don't really want to add unnecessary random chance to the game, as well. :)

The idea is that the Heavy replaces the Mafioso, and the Godfather orders the Heavy about as usual. So Heavy will always attack the person the GF orders, but they have multi-kill potential and a damaging cooldown if they get to use their multi-kill.

So to answer your question, the Godfather's choice will take priority, but the Heavy will be the one attacking.

Aren't mafia usually listed as bite immune but die to it? I just meant it would behave the same way as usual mafia, my bad, will change.

Because roleblocking 2 mafia members and making them 100% detectable isn't a downside.
If you think the drawbacks are stupid, too much, or not enough, then say so, but to say there isn't a downside implies to me that you didn't read this properly.

I'm not sure how them loosing their bite immunity would work out.. because then if they WERE bit, then they would know who the Mafia already was....

Maybe just take that part out of the cost of killing someone and their visitors.

this a better mafiaso in every way

if you kill one person it acts like mafioso with no penalty

if you kill more than one you have to wait a night so you at least killed 2 people

so its one kill per one night so still 1 kill a night and still = mafioso kpn

but since you aren't attacking a night that one less chance for tp to stop you and lo/tracker to see you visit the dead person so in that regards it's all ready a better mafioso

to add insult to injury you can end up killing more then 2 people if more then on person visits your vicitim so you can end up getting more then one kill per night

even when you kill more than two people you still get the above benefits i mentioned here but with more than 2 kills

this a better mafioso in every way possible it needs to have the same penalty when it kills just one person to be even remotely fair

but then its just a mafia WW and that's a boring concept that just doesn't work

Lemon, this was created before Ambusher was a thing, so if anything Ambusher is a nerfed Heavy.
