The Apprentice

Apprentice

Alignment:
(Neutral-Benign)

Abilities:
Request to train under another person. Varies with master's role after. (see additional info)

Attributes:
-Your master will receive your request anomalously and must choose to accept it for you can become their apprentice.
-You will be indicated of your master's role and will have their goal.
-As an apprentice, your abilities and attributes will be a nerfed version on your master's. (see additional info)
-You may speak to your master privately (unless he is in jail) at night. If they are in the mafia or vampires, you may discuss with the others too.
-Your master may choose to spend the night training you. Neither of you will be able to act if they do. Role-blocking still applies.
-When your master dies or he trains you for three nights, you will be promoted to the full role.
-When you are promoted, limited actions are maxed to the full role's potential.
-The town will be notified that somebody has become an apprentice.
-If your requested master is a unique role, they will automatically reject you.

Special Attributes:
-Varies with master's role (see additional info)
-As an apprentice, you will never have night immunity

Goal:
Become an apprentice and then accomplish your master's goal.

Win Conditions:
You can win with anyone your master can.

Investigative Results:
-Your target keeps to themselves. They may be a survivor, witch, vampire hunter, or apprentice. (investigator before apprenticeship)
-Your target has curiosity and is searching for a teacher. They must be a apprentice. (consigilere before apprenticeship)
-The investigation results after beginning apprenticeship depend on the role.

Additional Information:
Apprenticeship Abilities:
-If your teacher is a bodyguard, you will have no vests but may still protect a person. (town)
-If your teacher is a doctor, you will have no self-heals and be able to heal a person as long as it doesn't travel through night immunity. (town)
-If your teacher is a escort, you can be roleblocked, yet can roleblock others. (town)
-If your teacher is a investigator, you may investigate someone for their possible alignments. (Example: Bodyguard, Godfather, or Arsonist would appear as Town, Mafia, or Neutral Killing) (town)
-If your teacher is a lookout, you can see how many people visit a person. (town)
-If your teacher is a medium, you can speak to the dead unanimously, but you can't seance. (town)
-If your teacher is a sheriff, you will be a deputy and determine if people are suspicious based on their actions:
~If a person has been attacked and survived, they will appear suspicious.
~If a person has spoken during the night, they will appear suspicious.
~If a person has shown up at somebody's house at the night of their death, they will appear suspicious.
~If your target is capable of killing, they will appear suspicious. (town)
-If your teacher is a spy, you will hear whispers, but not the mafia at night. (town)
-If your teacher is a transporter, you may transport two people at night, excluding yourself and your master. (town)
-If your teacher is a vampire hunter, you may check one person a night to see if they are a vampire hunter. However, you can't hear them at night or stake them. (town)
-If your teacher is a vigilante, you may shoot one time. (town)
-If your teacher is a blackmailer, you can only blackmail people. (mafia)
-If your teacher is a consigilere, you will investigate a person for their role results like an investigator instead. (mafia)
-If your teacher is a consort, you may roleblock, but are not immune to roleblocks. (mafia)
-If your teacher is a disguiser, you may disguise once. (mafia)
-If your teacher is a forger, you may forge once. (mafia)
-If your teacher is a framer, you can only frame three times. (mafia)
-If your teacher is a janitor, you may clean one time. (mafia)
-If your teacher is an amnesiac, you can't remember until they do and you will become the same thing as an apprentice. (benign)
-If your teacher is an arsonist, you can only douse. (killing)
-If your teacher is an executioner, help get the same target hanged. (evil)
-If your teacher is a jester, get yourself lynched also. You may not kill a guilty voter. (evil)
-If your teacher is a serial killer, you may attack a person each night exactly like the serial killer, but you aren't immune at night. (killing)
-If your teacher is a survivor, you have two vests. (benign)
-If your teacher is a vampire, you may bite others but you won't turn them into vampires. You will also be sent as the youngest. (chaos)
-If your teacher is a witch, you may control like a normal witch but you or your teacher may not be involved. You also will not recieve the consigilere result. (evil)

You are an orphan and have gone out searching for guidance.

Please make it so that you cannot follow any unique roles since then it would break the game. (jailor trains apprentice three times and jailor is still alive. Lo! We have two jailors!)

What if the rule is that if your master has a unique role, you will not have any abilities until they die? Cause I would hate to get rid of WW, vet, and other unique roles.

This is an interesting thought. I really like it, however, I think it may be a bit too complicated for a role card. Could you give an example of one?

All the Additional information won't appear by the way and all these attributes and abilities will change with the master's role during apprenticeship.

Eh, just decided to remove unique roles all together because they are to OP.

if the apprentice can't convert anyone doesn't that mean the vampires are stuck with who they have because the youngest would go and the youngest is the apprentice can't convert or am I not understanding?
