I'm putting my role suggestions into this topic for better organization. If you want more information on them, click the links below the name of the role idea you want to look at. Note that if I made a suggestion but it's not in this topic, then it's abandoned.

Please comment your thoughts on these roles, preferably in their respective threads. If you don't want to, please vote in the poll(here or the respective thread is fine) so I know your overall opinion. Every post/vote counts!
As of 11/21/15, I have decided to not use polls for any of my ideas, though any idea prior will still have one. As much as I like positive things, I can't really say much on that unless you are able to say why you like or dislike something.

I really love the house guest and deserter ideas, but the intern sounds a little shaky. I mean, I don't quite understand the idea behind it. About the Deserter becoming a jester if he doesn't choose to align, I don't think that would work too well considering that anyone could just, say, voluntarily become jester whenever they want. BTW, I'M REALLY FEELING IT!

But in all seriousness, I will be putting stuff that seem debatable at the bottom of the original post and updating the poll to make it look like my old poll...too many things to pick :/

As for the things you listed:
-Intern was supposed to be a supporting role to support whoever their target was by doing something involving their role.
-Deserter becoming a Jester is meh for me. It fits with the story that he will become insane from fighting for a lost cause. I was going to be in the list of debatable things anyway!

Alright, for the House Guest, I'm not sure about the investigative results. If they don't get a notification, it's basically like telling your role anyway. For the people you can visit who talk, I'm fine with Jailor and Mafia, but the Medium, I'm not sure about. I don't understand what you mean. Do you mean that you can talk with the a dead medium if they seance the person you visited?

For the Deserter, I'm still iffy about the jester thing. It does fit the story, yes, but you can basically voluntarily become a jester. At least make it something like executioner, where you have no choice but to become one. For the alignment, I'm fine with it as it is, since I don't think too many roles should be able to just forcibly change that.

And for the intern, I think that works, but I still think there could be something else. And the Non-Neutral Killing role, I think the fact that you can find out the name of a person that attacked you is a little too OP. If you are going to do that, at least give them a notification so that they also know that you know.

-Investigative roles DO get results. It's everyone else who directly visit the House Guest who don't get it. Ex: House Guest visits Escort. Investigator investigates House Guest, gets results. Vigilante directly shoots House Guest, but gets no notification(Not doing immunity notification because House Guest gets harder to win as when more people die.). Doctor directly heals House Guest, gets notification for target being attacked. The House Guest will know about being attacked, roleblocked, healed, blackmailed, and controlled(like a regular player).

-Updating House Guest's story and changing Investigator's results...(DEBATABLE)

-A live Medium can talk to both the House Guest and the dead. The House Guest can hear both his target and a Medium who seanced him.

-For Deserter, I might consider 2 options: Changing the role to Survivor, or only turn into a Jester if their target lost before the game ends(Choosing not to align will let you stay as a Deserter, but you risk not being able to win since you need to align). (I will most likely do the second option.)

-I also still feel like the Intern is missing something, but I'm not sure what...as for the Non-Neutral Killing thing, I will adjust it to have a notification(Will say target is immune).

I think that the intern shouldn't find out the name of a person who attacked them, but I think that being able to fend off one attacker in a night is fine (meaning that if two people attack you, the second one will kill you).

All of these roles seem really awesome.

With the deserter, it might be better to have him be able to shoot specific people (like a vigilante does) because with the alert you might end up killing the people who are aligned with your target and making him lose. Of course, choosing one person to kill each night has the same danger, but at least you will only have killed one person aligned with your target. For example, let's say you aligned with the GF, but GF doesn't know who you are. You go on alert and the mafioso attacks you. The janitor then attempts to clean you and the disguiser attempts to become you. This means that you have destroyed most of the mafia and probably gotten rid of any chance the mafia had of winning. This could be fixed by making a deserter aligned with mafia get added to the list of mafia, but this would be a problem if the deserter decided to desert the mafia, because then the mafia would know who the deserter is.

I love the ideas of deserter and house guest. Intern, too, but less. I like being a neutral role. :) Deserter seems especially nice because whoever you align with benefits when you do align with them, so people probably wouldn't deliberately go after the deserter unless they know the deserter is aligned with an opposing team or are just really paranoid. Also, this might make the game more fun for witches, because the roles the witch can side with tend to stab the witch in the back. A deserter aligned with a witch could stop that and force these roles to work with the witch.

I love neutral roles...(as you can tell from my signature)

-Wierd...thought I wrote that the Deserter's alerts only kill people with a killer intent(reason being because he is not an old veteran)...(putting that in now...) :/ Anyway, Deserters are also able to be roleblocked while on alert, which is a good nerf in my opinion. More power to the Escort/Consort! :D

-For the Intern, I think I'll make the Godfather count as a Support role, as it helps the Godfather have more of that "Detection Immunity". (Don't want Intern to target Godfather and know he is a killing role and he later claim a non-killing role...would be very awkward for the GF...) That will be the only nerf I will put for that, as he will normally have about a (2-4)/14 chance of finding a NON-Neutral "Killing" role.

These are all really good roles... although, there are some things that I would change...

Intern feels a little bit too much like the amnesiac... although, once the person's visited everyone... the role becomes... useless... granted, the game doesn't normally last 15 days. But with the people that die in the game... the person who plays intern is only going to be able to learn something from someone... maybe at the least 5 times... maybe 6... that's the only one I'm really iffy about.

The house guest seems interesting. It reminds me of survivor, what with just wanting to survive. The only thing I can find myself not liking in this game is the whole "you die if you don't visit someone's house after two days" thing. It just feels... off... what if you're roleblocked two nights in a row?

The bulldozer is the one that seems most interesting to me. It's kind of an ally to everyone except the town... which is really something that we need more of. The only problem I can find is the fact that the bulldozer won't really have any clue where the killing roles are going to strike next... making it a tiny bit of guess work...

Overall, really like these roles

Thanks, I will address my POV about this:

-Intern is generally meant to support their target, unless they are a non-neutral killing role(besides the Godfather), then the Intern would become Night Immune and know who tried to attack him. Knowledge is limitless, so I'm keeping it with unlimited uses.

-House Guest chooses his target during the day, so no problems with that!

-This was my most recent role, so congrats! You are the first to make a comment about it!

-Nothing about Deserter? :(

I think the house guest is a good idea deffinatly.
Deserter seems too...chaotic for them to add easily, they'd have to balance him a bit.
Intern could be intersting but manybe a bit hard to learn?
I don't really understand the point of having a bulldozer?

-Well people are liking House Guest so okay...

-Deserter = Chaos...that's the point lol. It's like people fighting over another person they love...If you can think of anything to help balance him, then go ahead and suggest something. I'm open to any suggestions! :D

-Intern pretty much supports his target. Knowledge is power! lol

-Bulldozer pretty much tries to prevent other people from intervening in murder.
Example: SK kills Person A. Bulldozer visits Person A. Anyone else who visits Person A to not kill him gets denied access to Person A's house, letting the SK and other killers kill Person A peacefully.

Main concerns about the Trapper:
-It feels OP...do you guys think so too?
-Should the Trapper have a limit of 3 traps?

EDIT: Trapper seems too similar to Bulldozer, so scrapping one of them.

...So, which is better, Bulldozer or Trapper?

Promotion of a guarantee kill or promotion of mass murder? LOLZ

Hey, I had a role like the trapper. Granted, it was much worse... but still, the ideas are pretty similar. I'm not saying you copied me, because there a plethora of differences between our two roles. Scary coincidence, eh?

Thanks! But TBH, all roles are never completely balanced. Also, do you think that the Bulldozer would be more viable or the Trapper? This is something I really want to know because I don't like having two or more ideas with almost the same purpose, which in this case is promoting murder.

-Added the Ophthalmologist, a backwards Lookout with a few twists!

HI Kiyo,

Just a quick thing. I have noticed for the Intern (Town Support) when it says "wins with:Lynch all criminal and evildoers", isn't that the goal of the class, not who he wins with? Just in general wouldn't it be easier for you just to state with which alignment the wonderful class wins with?

Changed "Wins with" to "Goal" because it's better...lol...

But IMO, all Town roles should have the same goal, so it's implied that they want to eliminate all the baddies(Mafia, Witch, SK, Arsonist, Werewolf, etc.). As for my other roles, they're pretty much self explanatory... :/

The Role of the eye doctor looks very fun, but I think It's a bit too recent for the game. Same for the bulldozer. I love all of these roles, though. Hope the right people notice this!
