Ghosts - Evil Faction

Ghost Information: Spoiler: Ghosts are an informed minority that specialize in tasks after death.
All Ghosts will be able to access a factional chat after death, during the day. But, they do not have one while alive.
All investigation abilities can be fooled by Frames, Disguises, and Hexes.
The game cannot start with only one Ghost

Ghost (Support): Ghosts with a variety of abilities
Spirit Whisperer and Soothsayer.

Ghost (Killing): Ghosts that can kill players
Eradicator and Reaper.

Ghost (Manipulation): Ghosts that can trick players
Deceptionist and Swiper.

Ghost (Controlling): Ghosts that can redirect players
Loner and Fate Swapper.

Ghost (Hidden): Hidden Spirits that have vanished from the sight of humanity
Divinist and Scarred.

Victory Conditions:
Wins with Ghosts
Wins with the Traitor
Wins with Survivors
Must kill the Mafia
Must kill the Coven
Must kill the Vampires
Must kill Serial Killers
Must kill Arsonists
Must kill the Werewolf
Must kill the Juggernaut
Must kill the Plaguebearer
Must kill the Pestilence
May spare anybody else

Summaries: Spoiler: Spirit Whisperer: You are a Spirit who talks to the living from the afterlife

Soothsayer: You are a Spirit who uses corpses to protect and kill others

Eradicator: You are a Spirit who can see through others and strike them

Reaper: You are a Spirit who delves into the shadows and misery of the Town

Deceptionist: You are a Spirit who steals someone's identity for the night

Swiper: You are a Spirit who cleanses the bodies of the fallen

Loner: You are a little kid who just wants a friend to talk to

Fate Swapper: You are a Spirit who switches attacks from one player to the next

Divinist: You are a fortune teller who senses the presense of spirits

Scarred: You are an undead with a taste of betrayal


Ghost (Support):
Spirit Whisperer Spoiler: Attack: None
Defense: None

Abilities:
- Lookout for other Ghosts
- Speak to a living player during the night (day ability)

Attributes:
- You may use the first ability while alive, you make Ghosts' visits on that player Astral that night
- You may use the second ability while dead
- You appear as a Medium seance
- Astral Ghost visits are not seen by Spy
- You may roleblock the player you seance, but you cannot use your roleblocking ability on consecutive nights


Investigative Results:
- Sheriff: Suspicious
- Investigator: Lookout, Forger, Juggernaut, Spirit Whisperer, Coven Leader
- Consigliere: Your target talks to people after death, they must be the Spirit Whisperer

Soothsayer Spoiler: Attack: None
Defense: None

Abilities:
- Use a player's corpse or raise a zombie
- Use a zombie or raise a zombie

Attributes:
- You may raise a zombie of any role that could spawn in a possible role slot (example: if there's no Plaguebearer, Neutral Chaos, or Any, you cannot raise a Plaguebearer), but you may not raise roles that cannot spawn naturally
- You may not raise a zombie of a killing role, but you may convert a Killing role that it dead (does not matter if it has rot) to a zombie
- Necromancer and Retributionist will see a Killing corpse as missing if you converted it to zombie
- You can always see a list of zombies you have made
- Roleblock and Control Immune

Mechanics:
- Controlling corpses has priority over Retributionist and Necromancer

Investigative Results:
- Sheriff: Suspicious
- Investigator: Medium, Janitor, Retributionist, Necromancer, Trapper, Soothsayer
- Consigliere: Your target has rituals and spells all around them, they must be the Soothsayer

Ghost (Killing):
Eradicator Spoiler: Attack: Basic
Defense: None

Abilities:
- Investigate two players for their roles
- Attack a player

Attributes:
- You may use the first ability while alive, and the second while dead
- You do not know what player is which role
- If you investigate someone twice, you will instead attack them
- Control Immune

Investigative Results:
- Sheriff: Suspicious
- Investigator: Investiagtor, Consigliere, Mayor, Eradicator, Tracker, Plaguebearer
- Consigliere: Your target enjoys using heavy weapons to kill, they must be the Eradicator

Reaper Spoiler: Attack: Basic
Defense: None

Abilities:
- Kill a player
- Ambush a player's visitors

Attributes:
- You may use your first ability while alive, and the second while dead
- You see any players visiting your target the following night
- You will see any roles visiting your target while dead
- After successfully killing a player while you are dead, you must take a night to prepare another ambush

Investigative Results:
- Sheriff: Suspicious
- Investigator: Vigilante, Reaper, Veteran, Mafioso, Pirate, Ambusher
- Consigliere: Your target takes the spirits of others and drags them into death, they must be the Reaper

Ghost (Manipulation):
Deceptionist Spoiler: Attack: None
Defense: None

Abilities:
- Roleblock a player and steal their ability
- Steal a player's memories

Attributes:
- You may use your first ability while alive, and second while dead
- After stealing an ability, you may use it the following night, and then you must steal a new ability. Attempting to steal a Killing ability will fail, but you will roleblock your target still
- When you steal a memory, you block all notifications from your target and their visitors
- Roleblock Immune

Investigative Results:
- Sheriff: Suspicious
- Investigator: Bodyguard, Godfather, Deceptionist, Arsonist, Crusader
- Consigliere: Your targets takes the power of others for selfish needs, they must be the Deceptionist

Swiper Spoiler: Attack: None
Defense: None

Abilities:
- Clean a lynch
- Clean a dead body

Attributes:
- You may use the first ability while alive, and second while dead
- If a player you cleaned is lynched while you are alive, or killed at night while you are dead, you will clean them erasing their role and last will
- You may only having one player being cleaned at a time, but may switch who you clean. You may only successfully clean lynches and kills twice each

Investigative Results:
- Sheriff: Suspicious
- Investigator: Doctor, Disguiser, Swiper, Serial Killer, Potion Master
- Consigliere: Your target seems to be cleaning people from their spots, they must be the Swiper

Ghost (Controlling):
Loner Spoiler: Attack: None
Defense: None
Unique: yes

Abilities:
- Partner up with a player (day)
- Control your partner

Attributes:
- You may use both abilities while alive or dead, you may only use your first ability once
- Your partner wins with you while you are alive, you have access to a night chat until both of you die
- You cannot control you partner after they die, but may control them if you are dead and they are not
- You do not know the identity of other Ghosts, and they do not know your identity
- If a Ghost attempts to attack you, their ability will fail

Investigative Results:
- Sheriff: Suspicious
- Investigator: Spy, Blackmailer, Jailor, Guardian Angel, Loner
- Consigliere: Your target just wants a buddy to keep them company, they must be the Loner

Fate Swapper Spoiler: Attack: None
Defense: None

Abilities:
- Swap the deaths of two players
- Swap two players' roles

Attributes:
- You may use the first ability while alive, and the second while dead
- You will swap all attacks, both direct and indirect, from one player to the other
- Swapping roles lasts until the end of the following night, but does not swap goals or win conditions
- You may not swap two player's role until the previous swap is done

Investigative Results:
- Sheriff: Suspicious
- Investigator: Escort, Consort, Transporter, Hypnotist, Fate Swapper
- Consigliere: Your targets loves to move poeple around to protect them, they must be the Fate Swapper

Ghost (Hidden):
Divinist Spoiler: Attack: None
Defense: None
Unique: Yes

Abilities:
- Scry a player
- Reveal a player's role

Attributes:
- You may use the first ability while alive, and the second while dead
- Scrying a player causes them to visit the last player they visited, you ability fails if they cannot visit the same player or your target is a Ghost
- Players do not know they are redirected
- Revealing a player's role reveals their role to all Ghosts
- You do not know the identity of other Ghosts, they do not know your identity

Investigative Results:
- Sheriff: Suspicious
- Investigator: Survivor, Divinist, Vampire Hunter, Amnesiac, Medusa, Psychic
- Consigliere: Your target is a fortune teller who practices banned magic, they must be the Divinist

Scarred Spoiler: Attack: None
Defense: None
Unique: Yes

Abilities:
- Haunt a player

Attributes:
- You cannot Haunt the same player twice
- While dead, you retain the ability to vote Guilty, Innocent, or Abstain on trials
- Haunt: On trials, you have two extra guilty votes. Haunts last two days

Investigative Results:
- Sheriff: Suspicious
- Investigator: Sheriff, Executioner, Scarred, Werewolf, Poisoner
- Consigliere: Your target delivers a nasty headache to make you look cynical, they must be the Scarred


Lore: Spoiler: Living in the woods was a psychic, trying to see what was happening to the town that they left years ago because of the mafia invading the streets of Salem

The psychic wanders through these new streets of Salem, chaos spreading around every corner. In the midst of the mob, they spot a child lurking.

The child had a familiar aura around them, as if they’d been through something traumatic recently. The psychic then noticed new inhabitants, all moving around the child, watching his every step. Nobody else could see these inhabitants, the spirits that protected the child from beyond death

The psychic can't speak to them but they know that the psychic sees them and the spirits try to make a gesture telling the psychic to help the child survive and they will help protect both of them through the journey of their friendship, But something has already arose from the town that may try to stop the psychics plan to help the child...

A medium that has been working for the town has been talking to the dead for years, The experience of the supernatural are nothing new to her nor the gift of talking to people with a glowing crystal ball and her messages

But on one fateful day, a spirit whisperer said "Help us with this poor child and try to talk to them, An arsonist has killed their mother and is now with a psychic that can't hear our pleas of protection" And the medium said, "Where is this child at right now?" The spirit whisperer pointed to the woods and said "The psychic is trying to help the child survive with them and is having no luck in succeeding for their name" The medium said "I'll try my best to help you, As long as you keep that child alive" The spirit whisper nodded and vanished into thin air hoping for the medium to go into the woods to save the child for whatever is going to happen next on this chaotic field of the town

- Ghoul: Reaper was chosen over this (GK)

The mechanic of getting new mechanics upon death sounds pretty cool. It would definitely help with leavers and doing anything beyond the grave is just fun in general.
