Colossus (Neutral Chaos)

Colossus
Neutral Chaos

Abilities:
During the day you check a player to see if they have a crystal.
During the night you may attack a player.

Attributes:
Start out at the graveyard. The whole town will be aware of the Colossus.
Once ressurected game ends in a Colossus victory.
At the beginning of the game 3 black crystals will spawn on 3 Random people
Each even night the crystals will move to another player.
If a player who has the crystal is killed by Colossus the crystal breaks.
Only attacks from Colossus may break the crystal.
Players do not know that they have the crystals.

Special attributes:
Attack: Powerful
Unique role
Players may only have 2 black crystals on them maximum if there are less players than the amount of crystals

Win condition: Destroy all 3 black crystals in order to Ressurect.

Edit log:
Changed crystals from 4 to 3
Crystals will only be on 1 person now unless there are less players than crystals

But may I ask----why 4 Crystals? Why not 3???
I think 4 Crystals may be a tiny pinchhhh too many :P

I like the idea of starting from the graveyard, I think there are a lot of cool things that can be done with that. I do have a problem though and it is a pretty big one: There is really no way to stop the Colossus. Since they are in the graveyard they cant be roleblocked/jailed/killed and since their attack is powerful there is little anyone can do to protect someone who might have a crystal. I think that most games that have a Colossus will result in a Colossus victory

This is a good point---but if the Colossus has only a Basic Attack // can attack only every other Day??? (hey attacking from beyond the dead can be kinda hard!!! LOL)

Roles that start in the graveyard could be a cool concept, but I think it'd be a good idea for one of these roles to be a support role, like Guardian Angel for example.

Roles which start in the graveyard I like, and perhaps ToS has changed a great deal since last time I played. But isn't this role a bit like RNG? Like, a colossus who randomly attacks players is rewarded equally to one who tries to critically think through their strategy, because there is no way of knowing who has the crystals, and the players don't know who have the crystals either. That's one thing I dislike about this role. A random number generator from 1 to 15 can play this role just as effectively as a strategic mastermind. (I did make this paragraph before I saw the day ability, but I think my point still stands. Sure, the day ability helps, like a sheriff's interrogation would, but its like a sheriff in which the people labelled 'not suspicious' and 'suspicious' changes every even night, and no long term reads can follow.)

(Remember this is just my POV, I may well be wrong.)

What would I suggest to be the direction for this role? (Remembering again that I am just 1 person!)
Well, I believe this. At the start of the night, the players are informed that "You have a Crystal from the Colossus!"
This could change the dynamic of this role. Now, people can just stay quiet about this, meaning the Colossus still has to guess who has a crystal off no information. Perhaps that will remain the meta. But maybe people might claim they have a crystal for a doctor or bodyguard to come save them? People don't know how many crystals have been broken! Maybe mafia can try and make plays by fake claiming to have a crystal, thus attracting away nessesary medical attention to other roles. It at the very least means that the colossus needs to look at chat to figure out if there are any likely suspects to attack.
