Each night, you may retrace someone's visits.
Attributes
You will be informed if your target has visited a member of the Mafia.
You will be informed if your target has visited a member of the Coven.

I propose that, if a Framer's target visits someone, Spies see the target's visit as a Mafia visit instead of the Framer, meaning the target will not be seen as visited by a member of the Mafia.
Not much of a spy rework but a suggestion with current spy.

Spy:
- Replace the ability to see Mafia visits with additional bugs. Seeing Mafia visits makes majority of RM unplayable as long as a Spy exists and posts results daily, confirming anyone you visit as non-mafia is just not worth the effect your Mafia role has, except for Ambusher/Janitor/Disguiser. Instead replace that annoying ability with additional bugs on players during night - 2 or 3 bugs each night. 3 seems more balanced, but could be a bit difficult in programming or generally in the theme of ToS, as no role in the game can target more than 2 players during the Night. Only 2 bugs/night seems too little and too weak compared to Lookout or Investigator in terms of powerlevel, so this change could use a little more work. Either way seeing the Mafia visits ability should be nerfed/removed in my opinion.

Instead of seeing what happens to a target at night, you see how many instances of that players alignment are alive (You do not see their alignment though.)
For example, if you visit the Jailor night one you will see how many Town Killing roles there are. If you visit the Disguiser, you will see how many Mafia Deception roles there are. If you visit the Jester, you will see how many Neutral Evil roles there are.

The Spy will still see Mafia and Coven visits.

Instead of spy knowing the notifications that the player gets, spy will know the roles of the mafia and coven that visited their target last night. Spy will retain his ability to know who the mafia and coven visited last night.

Mafia:
Your target was attacked by a Mafioso
Your target was attacked by a Godfather
Your target was attacked by an Ambusher
Your target was threatened by a Blackmailer
Your target was investigated by a Consigliere
Your target was roleblocked by a Consort
Your target had their identity stolen by a Disguiser (Disguiser's first target)
Your target is wearing a disguise (Disguiser's second target)
Your target was forged by a Forger
Your target was framed by a Framer
Your target was hypnotized by a Hypnotist
Your target was cleaned by a Janitor

Coven:
Your target was controlled by a Coven Leader (CL's first target)
Your target was targeted by a controlled player (CL's second target)
Your target was hexed by a Hex Master
Your target was wiped out by a Hex Master
Your target was turned to stone by a Medusa
Your target was targeted by a zombie
Your target was targeted by a Necromancer's Ghoul
Your target was poisoned by a Poisoner
Your target was revealed by a Potion Master
Your target was healed by a Potion Master
Your target was attacked by a Potion Master

Aight, let's cut to the chase. This is a reworked version of an older post of mine about reworking Spy.

Proposed rework:

Spy (Town Investigative)
Attack: None || Defense: None
- Stick a bug to a target at night.
- Your bug is permanent and will give you Spy results from your target.
- You will receive feedback from all bugs you currently have.
- You have three bugs.
- If any bugged target dies, you will get your bug back.
- If your target was Cleaned, Stoned, or had their will destroyed, you do not get your bug back.


FINE POINTS:
- Isn't informed which bug grants which feedback.
- Cannot move bugs once they have been placed.
- If a bugged target is jailed the Spy does not receive feedback from the bug for that night, but they aren't informed that the target was jailed.
- If a bugged target dies the Spy gets the bug back, but if they're cleaned, stoned, or have their will destroyed, the bug is not returned.

Abilities:
-During the night you may bug a Players House.
Attributes:
-Bugging a player will mark a player to always have Visits/feedback on.
-You will learn if A member of the Mafia, Coven or Neutral visits any of your targets house.
-Bugging players do not count as visiting.
-You will learn any feedback your from your bugged.



My Spy Rework Idea
I feel some of those rework ideas are hitting a mark while others are not. Here is what I feel spy should retain:
His ability to receive visits/feedback in a LO sort of style if that makes sense.
The ability to see if what mafia does.
The bugs should remain relatively the same.


Role Name:
Spy

Attack: None
Defence: None
Unique: No
Priorty: 6

Role Alignment:
Town(Investigative)

Ability Changes:
- None. Still bug normally.

Attribute Changes:
- You will no longer see Mafia and Coven visits as a passive feature.
- You will see if your target was visited by someone that appears suspicious, but you will not know if they are visited by more then 1 suspicious person.
- Any framed target's will appear suspicious until they are check by a Sheriff or Investigator to the Spy.
- Any disguised Mafia that appear to be innocent because of the Disguiser will not show as suspicious.
- If a Coven member with necromonicon is framed by a Framer, then they will override the frame to the Spy.

People that visit the bugged person and appear suspicious are evils without detection immunity or framed.

This co-exists with my Framer Rework V2.

My only problem with the proposed rework is using the suspicious feature to sheriff into spy.
Also note: The suspicious visiting to a bugged person does not get triggered by any neutrals, unless framed.

Bugs not perma.
Yes but not neutral visits, unless their framed.
Yea I tried hard to be original while creating a good spy reworks and from what I've seen, your spy rework soulshade55r was the best imo.
