Role Idea - Cleric (Town Protective)

Role Name:
Cleric

Role Alignment:
Town Protective

Abilities:

Hasten
Select one player at night to grant them a Hasten buff for that night
Hasten accelerates a target's movement
Astral ability

Pros
[*]Your target will be immune to indirect attacks (rampage attacks, ambusher)
[*]Your target will be immune to poisons on night of poisoning
[*]Your target will be immune to roleblocks
[*]Escorts who are Hastened will not trigger Serial Killer's passive if RB'ing them with Cautious ability turned off
[*]Targets who are Hastened will not get doused by indirect dousing
[*]Targets who are hastened will not get infected when visiting infected targets

Cons
[*]Targets who are hastened will not be spotted by the Lookout
[*]Targets who are hastened will outrun Trackers
[*]Targets who are hastened will outrun roles who offer Protection (Doc, BG, Crus)
[*]Both the Cleric and the Escort who is hastened, will not be notified of running away from the SK if the Escort tries to RB a non-cautious SK

Attributes:

Priority 1 (above escorts)
Non-Unique

Notifications:

Target: You were hastened last night!

Target: You escaped a rampage attack last night!
Target: You were almost poisoned, but ran away!
Target: You were attacked by the ambusher, but escaped!
Target: Someone tried roleblocking you last night, but you ran away!
Target: You ran away from a sick player last night!

Cleric: You've decided to enchant [Player] tonight!

Cleric: Your target ran away from a rampage attack!
Cleric: Your target ran away from being poisoned!
Cleric: Your target ran away from the ambusher!
Cleric: Your target ran away from being roleblocked!
Cleric: Your target ran away from catching the plague!

[*]notice: most of these notifications are from indirect abilities

Goal:

Same as town

Win Conditions:

Same as town

Investigator Results:
Sheriff - You cannot find evidence of wrongdoing. Your target seems innocent.
Investigator - Framer, Vampire, Jester, Hex Master, or Cleric
Consigliere - Your target enchants people with mystical powers. They must be the Cleric!

Additional Information:

A protective role that protects from indirect attacks and negative effects.

Atm I gotta go get some sleep but I had a glance and I would reckon defiently remove the stuff your out running, like arso doused.

You can't spot who the arsonist is, but I suppose I can remove some of the notifications that signify that a player was doused.

He can only run away from indirect arso douses. If he is directly doused, he will get doused.

So a protective that isn't going to do anything aganist direct attacks? Seems weak in comparison even if it has other small advantages

Yeah, if you compared it to Doctor, it would seem weak. But this role can do what the doctor cannot do: protect from rampages, dousing, protect escorts from sk's, etc. There's some benefits that exist with this role, that don't with the Doc.

The Cleric will not die. I should add that his Hasten ability is Astral
