Role Idea: Traitor (Town Evil)

Role Idea: Traitor (Town Evil)

Name: Traitor

Unique: Yes


Alignment: Town Evil

Attack: None to Unstoppable
Defense: None


Attributes:
Starting at the beginning of the round, you will be told what abilities you will get.
These abilities will be identical to whichever town role you will get assigned to.
If you get the abilities of a unique town role, there can be no other players in the game with the actual town role.


Abilities:
You will gain the abilities of whichever town role you are assigned to.
You win with the town, but if you are alive with the town when the timer runs out as the last evil alive, or when you're the last player alive, all the town will lose aside from you and other Town Evils.
You won't get the abilities of a town protective or town investigative role.

Goal: Kill anyone who would oppose the town or yourself, or survive until the time runs out as the only evil left alive.


You win with:
The Town
The Survivors
The Amnesiacs
The Guardian Angels
The Jesters
The Executioners
The pirate

You must kill:
The Mafia
The Coven
The Serial Killers
The Werewolf
The Arsonists
The Juggernaut
The Vampires
The Plague bearer
The Pestilence

Sheriff: Your target is not suspicious! (With a town killing role, suspicious)

Investigator: Your target could be Sheriff, Executioner, Werewolf, Poisoner, or Traitor (Doesn't change no matter what town role they get)

Consigliere: Your target is a betrayer of the town. They must be a Traitor!

Achievements:

Betrayal: Win 1 game as the Traitor

Sociopathic Townie: Win 5 games as the Traitor

Confirmed Evil: Win 10 games as the Traitor

True Traitor: Win 25 games as the Traitor

Who's the Mayor?: Execute the mayor as the Jailor Traitor

Town Psychopath: Kill 3 townies as the Vigilante Traitor

Self Absorbed Doctor: Protect yourself with a self heal as the Doctor Traitor

Winning Side: Win without any town alive aside from yourself

Evil of the Town: Win with only you and other town evils alive.

True Horrors of Betrayal: Get killed by the Pestilence, while attacking them in some way as a Town Killing Traitor.


This is a good role they could add if they decided to go with the new "Town Evil" alignment I came up with to expand to a true alignment.

I don't like the whole "Town Evil" idea because it's too difficult to win, or wouldn't be fun to play against.

For one, all evil roles are already against Town Evils.
The Town is also against Town Evils

Everyone is against Town Evils, making it too difficult to win as.

I've been thinking about this. In my mind if this were introduced, it'd most likely only be in certain modes and of course, the town evils wouldn't show up in random town. Maybe there would be a certain mode based around the Town Evils, and it would fit well in All Any as well, and maybe in ranked if NE for example were removed.

We already have Town traitor mode. Do we need a specialized traitor role?
