Role Name: Expatriate

Role Alignment: Mafia (Killing)

Attack: Powerful

Defense: None

Abilities:
- Go on alert at night to deal visitors a powerful attack.

Attributes:
- You can only use your ability a total of three times.
- You cannot be roleblocked, even by a Jailor or a Pirate.
- You will still kill visitors if you go on alert in jail. You cannot kill the Jailor this way, however.
- Becomes a Godfather (not a Mafioso) when promoted. Will additionally be promoted last, after all other RM roles.

Notifications:
- You have decided to go on alert tonight.
- You have changed your mind.
- You shot someone who visited you last night!

Goal:
Same as other Mafia roles.

Win Conditions:
Same as other Mafia roles.

Investigator Results:
Sheriff - Suspicious!
Investigator - Your target whispers a lot. They must be a Spy, Blackmailer, Jailor, Guardian Angel, or Expatriate.
Consigliere - Your target is a Veteran who emigrated and joined the Mafia. They must be an Expatirate!

Additional Information:
The basic idea is that the role helps to counter the Jailor meta. If they can kill off all of the Townies who visit them, even when jailed, then they can claim Jailor D1 and do massive damage. Even if the real Jailor jails them, they can still knock out the TPs and LOs. This should break up the meta by making people more wary of claiming Jailor D1, because everyone will be scared of an Expatriate.

Overall, it's a copy of Veteran but I guess that's fine.
Investigator results would make more sense as vig/vet/mafioso, or BG/GF/arso

I like the idea but like the veteran the Expatriate would probably be outed the first time it kills someone because of their wills and then that's an easy lynch.

This is basically a Medusa (except that you didn't fix the problem Lalur mentioned, but I'll just assume that that gets fixed).

Mafia shouldn't get more killing roles, and even if they do they shouldn't be the same thing as Coven roles.

(Medusa was a great idea, mind you; but since it already exists in-game, the idea is taken.)

It's a good concept, it's just that Medusa works better. I will say, however, that jailing still goes through role block immunity, and you shouldn't be able to alert in jail. Also, it really wouldn't help the Jailor meta case, because normally, TP and Lookouts don't go on either if there is more than one Jailor claim. Of course, some TP/Lookouts will go on the Jailor claims, it's just that you won't deal massive damage or anything night 1. Technically, this might actually enforce the Jailor meta, because if the Jailor doesn't claim day 1 an Expatriate can just take the spot and do massive damage. A little bit of tweaking of the core mechanics and this role should be good to go.
