Summary:
A vagabond who is prepared to leave the town for his own safety.
Abilities:
You may choose to use an item or pack it up.
Attributes:
After packing 3 items, you can leave the town the following night.
If the Town wins after you leave, you will lose.
You cannot use an item 2 times in a row.
You lose your Basic defense after using 2 items or packing twice.
Win Conditions:
You win with the Town.
You win with Survivors.
You win with Refugees.
You win if you leave the town and the Town does not win.
Investigative Results:
Sheriff: You cannot find evidence of wrongdoing. Your target seems innocent.
Investigator: Your target could be a Bodyguard, Godfather, Arsonist, or Refugee.
Consigliere: Your target is prepared to leave the town. They must be a Refugee.
Notifications:

Mechanics:
- You start the game with 4 items. You have Lipstick, Reveal Potion, Medkit, and Binoculars.
- Every night, you may choose to use an item on a target. You may not use the same item 2 nights in a row.
- Lipstick role blocks a target (Escort), Reveal Potion reveals a target (Potion Master), Medkit treats a target and gives them Basic defense (similar to Doctor), and Binoculars reveal what roles visit a target (Trapper).
- Despite the Medkit only granting Basic defense, players will still receive the message about being healed if they are dealt a Basic attack.
- You have basic defense until you use 2 items or pack 2 items. You lose this defense the night you preform the action (you WILL die by packing a second time N2 and being attacked N2).
- You may also choose to pack an item by selecting yourself and then the item. Packing an item will cause you to no longer be able to use it.
- Once 3 items are packed, you can leave the town by selecting yourself. This will cause you to simply disappear. During the start of the morning, it will say the following sequence (as if you died); "We found <Refugee>'s home empty last night. It seems they left the town." and then reveals the Will and Role. Your role will appear in the graveyard, and the cause of death will be "Moved" . You will be able to speak in dead chat, despite not being 'dead'. Being role blocked, controlled, or killed will cause your leave to fail.
- You are role block immune when using Lipstick.
Achievements:
- Escapist: Win 1 game as a Refugee.
- Nomad: Win 5 games as a Refugee.
- Immigrant: Win 10 games as a Refugee.
- Vagabond: Win 25 games as a Refugee.
- Confidence: Win with the Town.
- Just In Time: Leave on the night before the Town loses.
- Learned From The Best: Save a Doctor.
- Just Too Pretty: Role block a Serial Killer.
Strategy:
- The first thing to know with this role is that you do not HAVE to work with the Town. While you do win with them, it is an acceptable strategy to leave the town and leave a fake will that helps the evil factions if you feel like the Town is going to lose.
- Due to your wide variety of tools, you are a huge target to evils. If you choose to help the Town, you need to ask for protection for your services. Your protection in for the first few nights is very limited and should be used wisely.
- Remember, if you die, that's it. You do not win with Town from beyond the grave. This means you need to ensure that you are not to big of a threat for evil roles if you are planning on leaving.
- Werewolves and Juggernauts are your biggest threats, as they ignore your temporary Basic defense. If you fear that they will target you, you need to seek protection. Pestilence is also a threat, but you will likely not have your defense when they arrive.
- It is not gamethrowing to directly work against the Town while alive. If you have 3 items packed, you can choose to directly help the evils, and then leave the following night. However, the evils can still choose to attack you the night you are leaving. And you will still die.
Win/Loss Conditions:
- If you are alive and Town wins, you will win.
- If you are alive and the Mafia, Coven, Vampires, Serial Killers, Arsonists, Werewolves, Plaguebearers, Pestilence, or Juggernauts win, you will lose.
- If you are alive and there is a draw, you will draw.
- If you are the last alive, you will win (Refugees win). If there is a Survivor alive too, you will both win (Neutrals win).
- If you die, you lose.
- If you leave and the Town wins, you will lose.
- If you leave and the Mafia, Coven, Vampires, Serial Killers, Arsonists, Werewolves, Plaguebearers, Pestilence, or Juggernauts win, you will win.
- If you leave and there is a draw, you will win.
