Headsman (Neutral Killing) WIP: Name Subject to Change

Here's an idea I came up with about a new Neutral Killing.

Headsman (Neutral Killing)
Attack: Unstoppable Defense: Basic

Abilities: Select one person each night to see if they are jailed.

Attributes:

1. If your target is jailed, they will be dealt an unstoppable attack.
2. If it is a Full Moon, your target will know they were visited. Example Message: ("The light of the full moon reveals a shadowy figure. You were visited by a Headsman!")
3. If the Jailor is slain at any time, you will become a Serial Killer with a Defense of None.
4. You will know if the target you chose was executed by your hand in the morning after they have died.

Goal: Execute Two Players.

Investigator Results: (Vigilante, Veteran, Headsman, Mafioso)
Sheriff Results: (Your target seems innocent)
Consigliere Results: ("Your target works against the Law. They must be a Headsman!")
Night Ability Message: "You will visit {player name} tonight.

I'd really like to hear what everyone thinks, as well as any suggestions for a new name! Thanks!

It's a unique twist, shouldn't be NK if they can't kill regularly as well as have a different win-con then killing all opposing factions.

Though a role that relies on another is somewhat bad imo, it's a good idea just wouldn't work and you would hardly ever actually guess a jail.

How do you suppose I balance this then? Because I'd love to make this into something that seems almost vanilla.

I helped Zombie come up with this idea, and I came up with another idea to combat the toughness of finding jailed. Like pirate, there would be a pop-up that shows 3 players. One of them is jailed and you pick between the 3 of them. To bring up the pop-up you select yourself at night. This way you can choose to not visit. Also we could change the role to Neutral Chaos. Do not forget that if the Jailor dies they become a Serial Killer without defense. Thank you for your feedback.

This relies on RNG.
Factional balance - understanding that whisper games are bad because they cause Town to win a disproportionate amount

Strategical balance - understanding that whisper games are bad because there's no reason to use any other strategy

Structural balance - understanding that disabling the Mayor's whispers, despite it fixing whisper games, means that a player can't use a core mechanic of the game and is still bad

This matters - educate yourself.
