Trickster

Alignment: Neutral Evil

Abilities: Choose two people to transport at night.

Attributes:
-Transporting two people swaps all targets against them.
-You may transport yourself.
-Your targets will know they were transported.
-You may not transport someone with themselves.

Goal: Survive to see the Town lose the game.

Win Conditions:
Wins with the Mafia
Wins with Serial Killers
Wins with Arsonists
Wins with Werewolves
Wins with Witches
Wins with Survivors
Wins with Vampires
Must kill Town

Investigative Results:
Sheriff: You cannot find evidence of wrongdoing. Your target seems innocent.
Investigator: They must be an Escort, Transporter, Consort, Trickster, or Hypnotist.
Consigliere: Your target only seeks to cause chaos. They must be a Trickster.

F.A.Q.

Isn't this just a NE Transporter?
Yes. Exactly. The Transporter is by far the most underrated Town role, being on the same power level as Jailor and Veteran when used correctly but held back by people misusing its ability. Giving that same ability to a Neutral Evil both gives the scum a transporter of their own in a way that isn't as overpowered as a Mafia Transporter would be and can help the Neutral Killer, as well as takes away from the Transporter's ability to confirm itself easily. It's the same dynamic as the Escort and the Consort, but with power levels more comparable to the Witch.

Why is this necessary?
This role is helpful both as a passive and indirect nerf to the transporter, as a way for scum to kill protected targets if they coordinate with a Trickster (which helps with the Jailor TP/LO meta), and as a way to bring in more Neutral Evil roles on par with the Witch, which is the only true Neutral Evil in the game right now.

I think this is a brilliant role; however as you said the only real NE is the Witch who also has the ability to swap the target of a witched person. If Trickster is just another NE trans and swaps, just in a different manner, then I dont see how this can become a real NE. (No, I'm not implying that this role is a bad idea, but the pool of NEs need more diversity aside from just swapping in general.) But seeing as how great this role could be if implemented.. here's some good old lore for ya, written by yours truly.

Also which one has priority, Transporter or Trickster, given if they were to transport the same person?

The Trickster loved to fiddle with his gears and his otherworldly machinery. Each night he would construct a different wheeled contraption, attaching it to his black stallions as if it were a fancy Victorian carriage. Click, fix, and tick, his glorious contraption was working! He set off into the shadows of the New Moon, riding to the Town and abducting two unlucky souls without asking any questions. He dropped them off, leaving the other to their doom. As he prepared to return to his shack, he heard a shot, and a muffled scream of one of his passengers. He laughed maniacally on the road to home, muttering, "You will take over this town, Godfather. You just need my tricks."

I feel this would be better if it has silent switches as town can't add two and two together as easily.

This is a problem with the game's Neutral Evil roles, not the Trickster.

You will also note I support adding and reworking other NE roles, alongside the addition of the Trickster. This is intentional and largely due to this exact point.

Yes, but silent transports have some requirements of their own. See this thread: Remove transported messages

Yes, but silent transports have some requirements of their own. See this thread: Remove transported messages

My suggestion that calls for this change also calls for several other Transporter changes.
