Welcome to a game I hastily threw together out of boredom. This story is driven by the players, meaning there may be pauses for me to figure out what the hell to throw your way. That aside, allow me to cover the basics.
Basic Stuff:
-Actions will be sent via PM
-Turns will move along once everyone alive has sent in an Action
-The group does NOT have to stay together, as such, most things will be handled in PM's.
-This is NOT a team game, but at least weigh your pros and cons before killing the others.
-When split from the group, you cannot communicate with anyone who isn't with you.
-Don't spoil things in the thread please.
-Success is like DnD, with determining factors being based on a random roll of 1-20.
Character Stats:
There's 5 main stats I'm focusing on here, remember that the base is 10, anything less than 10 is bad, anything over 10 is good.
Strength (STR)- Self Explanatory, affects overall damage
Intelligence (INT)- Mostly for proficiency checks on weapons/equipment unfamiliar to you (tbh not too sure how much it'll be used)
Constitution (CON)- This affects your Overall HP, and chance to keep fighting if it hits 0.
Speed (SPD)- Determines initiative, and chance to dodge.
Luck (LCK)- Never know when you'll need a little luck.
You will have the opportunity to either start off well-rounded (10 points in every stat), distribute 50 points among the stats as you please (Up to a Maximum of 20 per stat), or let them randomly roll (The only way to get more or less that 50 points overall, also you may reroll any stat of your choosing once if you select this, but you're stuck with the new number, regardless of whether its better or worse.)
Proficiency Choices:
-Each Proficiency may only be selected by one player, based on a first come first serve. Adds a (+2) Total to the skill.
Unique Abilities:
Each Unique Ability may only be selected by One Player (Save for Average), based upon a first come first serve basis. Alternatively, you may let RNG decide, and potentially get lucky enough to roll a Secret Super Ability.
Unique Abilities add a (+/- 1-5) to your stats, rolled at random.
-Tank (+CON/-SPD)
-Nimble (+SPD/-STR)
-Lucky (+LCK)
-Average (Nothing)
Joining:
To join, simply type /join followed by your character's name, their gender (Male, Female, Unisex), proficiency, unique ability and how you want your stats rolled (Well-Rounded, Self-Assigned, Randomly Rolled). In the case of self assigned, please include the distribution of your stats in the Join Post.
