Risk blowing your brains out and strive to become the victor!
It all started long before I came to the ToS forums, when I browsed the Steam discussions for some interesting ♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎. I was browsing for a while and Russian Roulette: Crossfire came up into my face and buried itself into my mind. A half year later, I came to the ToS forums, saw a Forum Games subforum and thought: "Hey, I saw this back on the Steam discussions, why not introduce it to the ToS Forum Games?" So I researched several forums hosting this game and decided to bring it to the ToS forums.
Russian Roulette is a lethal game requiring a revolver with a loaded bullet in one of the chambers. The player would spin the cylinder, snap it in place, and pull the trigger. Either nothing would happen, or it would blow the player's brains out. Basically that in a nutshell. If you want to find out more about the history just go on Wikipedia or something.
Now let's get on with the rules. Let's start with an intro:
12 people sit around a table, a 6 chamber revolver is loaded with a single bullet. The host spins the chamber and hands you the gun.
How Every Turn Will Be Recorded:
Every turn, I will post six things going from top to bottom:
Results: The results of the last player's turn.
Round: Every time a player dies a new round starts and the gun is reloaded.
No. of bullets left in the chambers: The chamber where the bullet goes in will be decided by RNG.
A ratio comparing the no. of chambers left and the no. of total chambers
A list of players alive: Also lists the no. passes left for each player and if he/she has pulled or double-pulled.
Graveyard: Lists the dead players and also the no. of passes left each dead player.
Eliminated: Lists the players who have died after reviving, or if he/she has run out of passes while dead.
Options Every Turn:
Pull: Cross your fingers and pull the trigger.
Pass: Pass the gun to the next player. Each player starts with 3 passes.
Double-pull: Pull the trigger twice and earn a pass. However, if you die while doing this, you will not earn a pass.
Crossfire: Point the gun at another player and pull the trigger.
Actions must be posted in bold.
Taunting:
You can taunt another player into pulling at any time, It doesn't need to be your turn.
Taunting requires you to have pulled or double pulled at least once.
If the gun is reloaded, you must pull again before you can taunt again.
Taunting costs 1 pass.
Crossfire:
Crossfire allows a player to point the gun and pull the trigger on someone else.
Risking the other persons life instead of your own.
You may only use crossfire if you have pulled or double pulled before.
If the gun is reloaded, you must pull again before another crossfire.
Crossfire costs 2 passes.
If a player is taunted, they can not crossfire.
Players that double pull are immune to crossfire until the gun is reloaded.
Betting:
If you have died, you will be added to the "graveyard".
Anyone in the graveyard can use their remaining passes to bet on who will die next at the start of a round.
Betting costs one pass per round.
If you run out of passes in the graveyard you are eliminated.
If your bet is right, you will be re-added into the game.
If your bet is wrong, nothing happens and your pass is wasted.
If you die a second time, you are eliminated.
You can only bet on 1 player at a time.
Two graveyard players cannot bet on the same player at the same time.
Display your bet action in bold.
Betting is closed in the final round (when there are two players left).
