If a game required players to use the honor system to not look at a certain thread, do you think players would respect that?

Honestly, you'd really have to be careful who you let in to a game like that, and even then it's impossible to tell, as Boom said

If the moderators were in on the idea, they could restrict the players from viewing that specific thread until the game is over.

Would require Turdpile. So impossible.

Basically would have to create an entirely new forum to host the game due to limitations with PMs.

I'm currently working on a combat based RPG. Perhaps you could co host it, and possibly help with the development if you're interested.

Well, I haven't actually posted it yet. I have saved it as a draft though, so I could send you that.

The name sounds interesting. Are you inquiring about the level of profanity?

Interest Check: A Fantasy RPG where you need to become the strongest. You can team up with others, but betraying them is an option.

The twist is, the players are very weak and stupid.

How do you make the players stupid in game if they aren't out of game.

I could see something working like that. Players start out weak, clumsy, and screw up most of what they do. They have weak gear as well. They must work as a single group at first because everyone is too weak to survive. Then as players grow stronger and gain better stuff so they don't need each other so much, and start to divide.

The trick is that the objective can't have players immediately start fighting, they need to have reasons to work together and reasons to betray each other.

It means that Damafaud needs to do some rewording and needs to include more details next time he posts an interest check.

^^

Exactly what I planned in mind. They will evolve after defeating some enemy, reducing the need for ally. Eventually, a pair or group of three is most a group will need.
