(Could be literal. But a husk could also be a figure of speech basically saying it’s lifeless. That the person it was is no more.)

As you approach Room 4, you faintly hear music, playing to drown out the storm. Given that, it is unlikely you will be heard if you knock.

"Did you hear or see anything perculiar? Did anyone apart from me and the guy with the wolf mask visit you?"

"Not that I remember. I think one of the crew stopped in to ask me to stay below decks during the storm though."

This door is locked. There is no answer when you knock.

There are a number of letters to and from family, friends and patrons. Nothing out of the ordinary.

It smells odd. Beyond the stench of burned and boiled flesh, there is another, fainter odour. The smell makes you think of great heat, and of the summer sun.

"He was perhaps sightly better dressed than most of the crew. A middle aged man, with a thick beard."

You hear a clatter from the other side of the door and it swings open to reveal a young, well dressed man.

"Yes, something I can do for you?"

A low rhythmic chanting comes from behind this door. It is locked.

As you bang on the door, it opens to reveal a dimly lit room. The chanting has ceased, and a young woman kneels before an altar.

You gain an itch you cannot quite scratch on the tip of your nose.

You enter the crew quarters. There are hammocks, slung across the cabin, with an equal number of chests and wardrobes. The room is poorly lit by a number of candles, held in iron fittings.
