The Fairy guesses the Direwolf as the Court Jester! Spoiler:They are correct!
---
The Direwolf bows as he reveals his own mask, hiding behind a scarred yet strangely happy boy.
"Ohoh! A shame. Truly. I was having such fun, too..." the once-Direwolf responded. "All things come to a end I suppose!"
The Direwolf gestured to the staff of the manor. "Well? Let's get this over with. Chop chop!"
The staff obliges. As they escort the now-stranger from the hall, he raises his hands and shakes them above his head in strange glee. Truly an odd yet charming man.
The Sheep guesses the Fairy as the Royal! Spoiler:They are incorrect.
After the escapades of the evening, the group once again settled down for dinner. The tables had been notably absent of both people and food, as the feast had deteriorated into a calmer served meal. The food was equally as exquisite as always, but one could not ignore the lack of individuals in the room. Down to 6 they were, and each were nervous.
Even so, hunger is hunger, and the group began to dine. Mostly silence was the response as they eyed each other warily. They had to eat, even at a cost. Mortal and all that. And compared to the events pertaining the Mocking Bird, it was natural to be sceptical.
Meanwhile, the Sheep continued his meal. The aggressive nature of the other players had meant he'd been given the short stick, repeatedly too. This had left him understandably grumpy, although the food helped his gullet calm down.
Unfortunately, his gullet didn't want to be calm. At all.
The rising tide of unease shook the Sheep's body as familiar coughing spread across the table. There was no need for a reaction; the die had already been cast. Coughs tuned to chokes as the life blood of the Sheep began associating itself with the food. The staff did nothing. The players did nothing. Some of them didn't even look. The danger was well-known already; there was no reason for doubt.
The Sheep's desperate sputters drowned out reason. Muscles betrayed him as they flayed his bones. The sickly pale liquid took it's due, and much much more. Too much. Too much to give. His skin turned pale as his eyes vibrated with worry, his last vestiges of thought overwhelmed with thanatophobia. Eventually, the Sheep stopped moving. Soon after, the Sheep stopped breathing. And soon after that, everyone coldly returned to their meal, focus redoubled.
The Sheep has been poisoned!
The Direwolf has been guessed as the Court Jester!

The players are now dulled down to a third. The game quickens to the end. For some, the prize is within reaching distance. For others...
A new round has begun. It is now the challenge phase. 48h remain.
/dance the Fairy If you accept this, you will once again win the challenge, and receive a gift. If you deny, you will have no denies left, meaning everyone else can rush you with challenges and get you voted out.
Now--is it really worth denying me to make me lose GI sooner?
See the thing is only one more person can challenge if they challenge me, it'll be to a thing they'd win, and I'm dead whether I accept or deny if they challenge another, there will be two vote targets--me and one other. If I go into that earning two gifts, I'm probably dead. Therefore, because your "free gift" is not as helpful as you seem to want me to think, I must
/deny
really it's kind of like the FitBit knockoff I got as a birthday present one year--the gifter may or may not have meant well but it's not something I wanted at all.
Devil, if you challenge me, you will be denied, and will be vulnerable to guessing. Though I don't do much with figuring out people's roles, I know others do. You will probably be guessed out if you get denied.
Do not challenge me. I do not want it, and you should not want it either.
