Mechanics

Spoiler: • Every player will simultaneously post a statement on the thread, this will last for 24 hours
• The statement must be a fact (can be about anything but it must be provable whether it's true or not) and can either be a truth or a lie, they must inform me which it is. They will also have to provide some basic info on the statement, atleast 20 words. I reserve the right to ask you to give more info if I don't think its enough.
• Every player must then send me a guess on whether the other players' statements are a truth or a lie, this will last 24 hours. The players earn a point for any statement they correctly guess to be a truth/lie.
• Players are not allowed to search up the answer. I know that it is quite easy to search up answers but I will just pity you if you're cheating on a forum game. If I found out that you cheat I will ban you from this game and potentially any game I make in the future.
• At the end of the round the person with the least amount of points will be eliminated and the game continues.
• If there is a tie then the whole process will repeat however only the tied parties will send in guesses (while everyone still send a statement)

Miscellaneous rules

Spoiler: • If the statement involves a percentage and you're making it so the percentage is incorrect the incorrect percentage have to have atleast 20% difference to the real percentage
• If the statement involves a number and you're making it so the number is incorrect the incorrent number have to have atleast a 20% difference to the real number

Activity

Spoiler: Inactivity is the bane of all forum games. If you fail to post statement/send in guess you get a prod and have 24 hours to reply to it. At the second prod or if you fail to reply to your prod you will be replaced.
Any empty spots that aren't replaced may be modkilled.

I'll start the game when I have time soon (likely in an hour or so) and chemist will have to come up with a name during the first phase

I just thought of some exploits that could be made so I am adding the following rules:
If the statement involves a percentage and you're making it so the percentage is incorrect the incorrect percentage have to have atleast 20% difference to the real percentage
If the statement involves a number and you're making it so the number is incorrect the incorrent number have to have atleast a 20% difference to the real number

This is so that someone can't just make a number/percentage just slightly different from the real number/percentage making it incredibly unfair
Overall basically just make sure there's a distinct difference

The camera pans across the studio as the light brightens. The audience applauds as the camera focuses on the table in the center. The table is decorated with an elaborate tablecloth featuring the show's logo. The host sits at the center of the round table, the 7 contestants on either sides of him. In front of each contestants are empty cards with the show's logo on one side.

"Welcome to our very first episode of Would I lie to you?"

"Tonight we have 7 lovely contestants joining us. The first one on my right is Jaiden Y, besides him is Daniel B, Billy H and Joshua F respectively."

"On my left is Shagga son of Dolf , El Factorio, and Vlad P"

"On our first round tonight our contestants will write down a statement on the paper and everyone else will have to guess whether it is a truth or a lie. The one with the least correct will go home. Without further ado, let the first round of the game begin!"

The first round begins. Every contestants have 24 hours to post a statement and a brief description on the thread. To inform me whether it is a truth or a lie you may either pm or dm (discord) me.
