Prankster was first devised and used three years ago. There's no point in renaming it.

We can discuss changing it though. I think the first thing to consider is that when Invenio made it what we now call CL was effectively the only type of game. Prankster is pretty useful there since there's a lot of power roles to give prankster leeway. Now it's less useful. There are few useful pranks. Those that can be used risk confirming somebody as town once they realize that they were not actually witched or doused. I guess roleblocked and attacked & healed have minor uses too. What I would say the role has in its favor right now is that people have decided to not claim witched for some reason because of a niche utility that grants in the face of niche utility that claiming witched does grant.

I didn't include the role in 12B because it wouldn't give much power to the mafia compared to any other mafia decepiton role there. Granted that was a 15p game. However, I still think that it'd be fine if prankster was nixed from episodes. Transporter can go too.

Summary: In its current state it should be limited to CL and MC/HC games. That can be changed if we discuss modifications.

I still think Janitor is better but Prankster/Hypno are powerful some FM names are silly.
Framer/Disguiser need Massive buffs to even compare to Janitor.

I don’t like Prankster personally because it takes away the confirmability that puts Doctor on par with Bodyguard. However, I think this mechanic is much more bad in a Town of Salem environment, and not as much in a FM environment.
