Could somebody explain to me how Forum Mafia really works, do you have to like send messages to someone or how does it works?

RNG is never good for any strategy based game. Please learn the definition of what that means, especially if you're one of the people constantly defending it.

This post sums up the basics.

The vast majority of the game is played in the threads in Game Threads, PMs are generally reserved for asking the mod questions.

^^^

Actions are PM'd to the game's host, and threads are used for the daytime.
Otherwise it's just the same as ToS but longer and more intense.

Main difference is that it's mostly about how you read people rather than the night actions. You can't expect the TIs or jailor or mayor to carry you to victory. Many games won't even have a jailor or mayor as a matter of fact. My advice to start out with would be just write a notepad with initial reads with a line or two per player. "I went through the ISO of player X and there's literally 3 pages of nothing here." for example. Update it as the game goes on and as the game gets closer to the end, make it more details for those still alive. You don't need to necessarily post these reads early on, I normally don't until days 3/4 or later myself, but it's good to have on hand.
