nowhere does it say you can't make a role for the hell of it,and that's what I did. Don't like it? Then don't add it if you host a GiM. Think I'm going overboard? Then send me a PM about it!



And if you honestly think people are making roles in this thread so they can legitimately be tested, you're kidding yourself. Do you really think people wanted to test out overpowered shit like the lie detector jailor?

I'm pissed off at the way Var handled the making of this thread and I feel personally attacked by it, and frankly it's just the tip of the iceberg with some of the shit I put up with here.

fine, I can accept that, but what I cannot accept is that he uses examples that are only from my role creations and I would appreciate it if that weren't the case so that when people do read it, they won't see roles i've created and think "wow, this guy's an idiot lol"

I want you to consider if it were you who were singled out by this instead of me; i guarantee you wouldn't feel great about it, either. I want you all to understand that I feel singled out by this thread because it didn't NEED to be all one person's roles used as an example of shitty role creation. Like, seriously, seeing this thread made me feel terrible about myself and took me down quite a few pegs at a time when that was the last thing I needed.

Should i have gotten as heated as I did in replies to this? No, absolutely not. That was out of line for me and I do apologize for that; i'm sure many of you know how heated I can get sometimes on these forums and sometimes I forget that I joined FM to get away from getting into fits of passion like that. But, it doesn't change the fact that using me as the only example of shitty roles in the GiM thread was a low blow and honestly really hurt my feelings, and I would appreciate it if it were changed so that wasn't the case. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

posts are tldr lol but as the poster of GIM i think the thread has devolved past the point of AIDS and in its current state i'd not use a very large portion of the posted roles because they'd either be unfun, unfair, or just bad.
