Hey guys, the mod team is looking to address some issues regarding the current game queues, as well as announce some new changes in management.
To start off with a bang, we're going to be ridding ourselves of the 2nd Standard game slot. We've instead decided to opt for a new game slot, meant to be used for all of the different game types. We have no special name for this slot, as it can be any sort of game. This slot will be used to help with queue cluttering and backup, and will be used very soon to help with the backup in the SFM queue.
Additionally, there is going to be changes to queue management.
I will be stepping down from queue management to head and focus on our Balance team, while Metrion shall be stepping up to the plate to handle the backup game slot in place of me.
Address any questions, comments, or concerns in our thread dedicated to this, our Discord, or in PMs to the moderators.

Two reminders regarding a few issues which have crept up a bit more recently:
1) If you have host powers, don't use them outside of your game unless given permission by another games host or by an FM Moderator.
Regardless of intentions or whether or not the host who's game was affected is fine with it, always make sure you have their permission before using your host powers in their thread. For instance, if you have host powers and somebody else's game has reached hammer but it isn't locked and the host seems to be offline, ping an FM Mod on the Discord to lock it instead of doing it yourself.
2) Don't join games when you're aware you have a signup cool-down.
Regardless of whether or not the Moderation Hub is updated, you should be keeping track of how long your signup cool-down lasts for, especially if you were force replaced from a game. If you're a host, check the Moderation Hub to see if any players who joined your game are on a signup cool-down, or if it isn't up-to-date then check recent games to see if a player trying to join your game is on a signup cool-down.

On a more positive note, the Replacements Spreadsheet in the Moderation Hub has been updated so that the replacement information from July to now is present in it. With the next Episode coming up very soon, it might be worth checking out to see if you're eligible for it or not.

The time has come for me to step down as an FMMod.
Life has been exceptionally busy for me in recent months, between working from home and running around after a toddler. I can no longer properly give the right amount of attention to FM. I'm leaving NFM in very capable hands, and I'm sure that it will be hilarious to watch from the sidelines.
I will still be on discord, although I don't check it every day, and if you're not a complete idiot, you can message me and I'll give you my instagram page, so that you can see everything babynora and I are getting into.
Babynora is NOT going to take over my spot as an FMMod - she's still working on when to properly use the word FUCK in context, but she'll be back around next year to take Metrion's spot.
It's been real, and you're all nerds.
