While we are all saddened by Guzames departure - I want to honor him the best way I know how.
With a Farewell Episode Game.

I will be copying the role list from Episode 1 - along with the rules for that game. Some minor changes will be made (Such as the mafia will have mafia chat this time).
While I realize it won't be the same as Episode 1 and I wasn't the moderator - I feel it's the best way to send him off.

This will happen after my current game.

Guzame, you've been amazing. I wish I could've gotten to know you more over these months but from what I have learned, you are a great guy. You gave me a chance and I will be forever grateful to you for that.
I wish you luck in your future endeavors and hope to see you on other parts of the forum.

I will be opening sign ups for Guzames Farewell game in approximately two hours from this post.

I will be allowing anyone to join (Whether you're in a game or not), since this is a Special game for Guzame.

I have tweaked some stuff, which I will talk about in sign ups.
And there is a little surprise which I hope everyone will enjoy.

For those wondering when my first game will be: I am currently in the process of obtaining my mafia chat usergroup. This will likely be a couple of days. Sometime on Friday will be the best bet when signup times are revealed.

Just because I've been asked, I just wanted to reclarify why it was that I removed roughly 45 users from my Mafia group:

I never intended for the group to be open for so long in my absence. No, this does not mean I have plans of starting up a game soon. No, I will not be returning soon. A situation came up to me in private from another moderator about another game and I wanted to remove everyone to protect the identities of any Mafia members who'd join the group just to reference the past games from the Mafia angle.

Hey all.

I've moved a copy of our "Rules and FAQ" thread to the announcements in the Game Thread Section. (This is where you find the role cards as well)
A copy will still be in the Sign ups.
We felt that this was getting lost in all the stickies in the sign ups - not many people might be seeing it. It is also easier access for us Mods in case we need to take a look at it.

Please RE-READ the Rules/FAQ. Some things have been changed - and some things have been added. Even if you've read it 100 times - re-read it again.
If you break a rule that is currently on there and your excuse is "I hadn't read the new rules." That won't be accepted.
There is only a few changes made - but read them please.

If anything else is added/changed - one of the Mods will announce it here.

Just to let you all know we are currently discussing the "No using Color in FM discussion" rule.
For now - assume that you cannot use it. I will announce it if it is changed/staying (And I will be adding a rule to the Rules/FAQ thread so new players aren't confused).

The Rolecards have been updated. Mostly small changes or grammar fixes with the highlights being the non experimental status of the Phantom and the addition of the Marshal.

The Verdict on using Color in the FM Discussion Section: You may use this as long as you aren't trying to impersonate a Mod.
If you are suspected of doing this: We will talk to you about it. Further actions could be taken.

GFM1 (Giant FM 1) has been announced - a 3-section 60-player mega-game to be run after some current games wrap up.

Also - a thread defining the types of FM has been put up, including the new GFM category.

The following people have been charged with cheating and/or gamethrowing in past FM games: TwitchCattz, Artica, Nyghtwulf and Databank.
They are blacklisted for 4 months pending review from all FM games (This includes CFM/TFM/SFM and Episodes).
They may appeal this blacklist at any time.
This decision was not made lightly, we have been discussing it for quite some time.

If you have any questions about this: Feel free to PM me.

Do not harass these people: If I hear of anyone harassing them, further action will be taken.

As a result of the previous business being concluded, my mafia chat is open for all to review in User Control Panel => Usergroups => Select "Iggyvolz's Mafia" => Join Selected. A few other moderators also leave their chats open in-between games for prospective mafia to review, and they will be purged before a new game begins.

Signups for TFM8 are going up tomorrow at 9:00 EDT (a tad over 24 hours from this post). No lynching, sibling game.

I'll put up the signups before that but they will be locked, so do not panic.

A friendly reminder to those interested in playing in the Giant Forum Mafia idea- it's going to be hard to get the game working if we can't prove having the player base for it. In case you haven't noticed, we have a Mock Signups for the GFM thread going on in the Signups Section.

If you even have a thought of signing up to play, please do so so that we know we can either scrap or carry through with the idea.
