Well, I guess I'll begin this...

I may or may not be hosting a game 4D for a few reasons. The biggest concern I have is school, and the amount of checking I do when I'm involved in Forum Mafia. Pending when Episode 4 ends, I may have enough time for one more game with the least restraints on roles that can appear.


IF I do host one more game, please note the following:

1. My Medium buff (discussed in Episode 4) will become canon for all my games.
2. My Jailor buff (also discussed) will also become canon.
3. Vampires will NOT be canon.
4. Spy will be included as written, EXCEPT all Spies will not be able to hear whispers sent to a player- only the ones they send.
5. Instead of Blackmailer, I will be using Agent. Works like Blackmailer; instead of a blackmail, they can see who a Player visits one night.
6. I will be buffing the Lawyer role. I've decided to change the role card as follows:

(This role is still in the experimental stages ~ It will not yet appear in Episodes for the time being.)

Your alignment is Town Power

Celebrated around the county as a true defender of justice, you were widely known for your ability to see fair verdicts to the end.
It is now time you realize that your power is exactly what the town needs to see the right people punished.

Once a day, you may PM the Game Moderator that you wish to activate your power.
If you do this, then if the majority vote is reached on a player, the Game Moderator will announce that you have entered the gallows.
You can communicate anonymously with the Town via two 1000 character-limit messages for opening/closing arguments.
Within 24 hours, the players must send a vote of /Guilty or /Not Guilty to the Game Moderator.
Your vote counts as two.
During your trials, you may also swap defendants, or force a verdict. You may only do each of these once and they can be used together.
At the end of the Trial, regardless of the verdict, the Day Phase will end.
You may do this only three times. You can also perform this power on yourself.

You win with the Town
You win with Survivors
You must kill the Mafia
You must kill Arsonists
You must kill Witches
You must kill Serial Killers
You must kill Stalkers
You must kill Bombers
You must kill the Vampires
You may spare anyone else

I'll be going on vacation starting this Saturday. I'll be gone a week or so. When I get back I plan on running a game (If there is room for me). I've heard LoF/Rick may be planning something too. We shall see when I get back!

My game has been canned due to the Vampire role causing no-talking.

The All-Star game will possibly starting soon.

Once Game 4D ends, I'll be taking a hiatus to catch up on some things I've been putting off in life.

Some of these things include, but are not limited to:

- Some personal stuff. Quite a bit of it, actually...
- The SK Monologues
- Reviews for both Episode 4, and one for 4D.
- I'm also planning on adding a guide to playing FM, a how-to if you're Town/Neutral/Team Evil.


When I settle the above stuff, I do plan on hosting a game again. Also, even though this hiatus is indeterminate, I do plan on returning. I want to continue being a Moderator. I enjoy the effort I put into the community here, and every game I host, I feel one step closer to nailing down what games people want to see hosted.

On a personal note, I'm split about actually playing another game in the near future. For the moment, I won't go into details.

Update on Episode 5.

The Full role list has been made. I'm just waiting on TurdPile to set up a Night discussion thread for the Mafia to talk. (You're all free to poke him in a PM to remind him)

Sign ups should be within a few days - next week at the longest.

I would like to host an Episode 5B after the All Star Game. I would like to try a 22 or 23 player game. I will add a random town or two and an Any to the ASG role list. Maybe a Town Killing too, ill decide later. And no holding back on the Any, it will literally be any role. Oh, and I wont be rerolling the role list, even if i get 3 SKs again.

Regarding games 5B and 5C: One will be hosted by myself, the other by Metrion.

I will be opening signups to my game right after the All Star Game ends.

You should think about if you want to be in my game or Metrion's.

Metrion will most likely be hosting a normal 20-player game with a Role List.

My game will be a 25-player All Any madhouse. The only restrictions for the All Any are as follows:
Maximum number of Mafia members: 8
Minimum number of Townies: 5

The following was my first attempt, and RNG produced one of the worst role lists I have ever seen.

The Game Rules have been updated. The following rules have been added:

-These rules are guidelines. A moderator may punish a player for disruptive behaviour, even if this behaviour isn't explicitly mentioned in the rules.

- Be Respectful! It’s definitely okay if you disagree with someone/call them out, but be respectful about it. Don’t say hateful things because you’re upset. Remember – THIS IS STILL A GAME. Have fun with it and don’t get to uptight or upset. If you find that you aren’t having fun – Take a break and cool off. If you disrespect other players, you will receive a warning. If you get warned a second time during a single game, you will be blacklisted.
Being disrespectful includes, but is not limited to anything that contain racist, rude, overaggressive, inappropriate, obscene or anything that may otherwise be considered hurtful.

After Metrions 5C and my 5D game have ended we will be co-hosting a Double mafia experimental game. Metrion brought this up a while ago on FM Mod forum and asked me to join him in hosting. Stay tuned for that after our games have ended!

This is a general request from ALL Moderators. Please do not make me (or ANY of us) quote this post to you personally.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT harass Moderators about decisions if we gave no ETA.

The answer is this: We do not have an answer yet. If you see no announcement, no thread, no anything, then assume you must wait.



Players have recently taken a liking to spamming private messages of a nagging nature to all of us, and I need to tell all of you in one shot- your messages telling us to hurry up, don't actually make the process any quicker. So please stop. Any more messages of this nature will be ignored.

IF it is not that case that you're waiting on an update from ALL Moderators (example- if you wanted to ask me about my particular Game updates, or another Moderator about their own), you're free to ask any of us individually what our plans are for those projects. The rule of thumb is, if it's a decision large enough to warrant the thoughts of ALL moderators, you should be leaving us alone until we're all prepared to announce something. It means you do not message all of us telling us to hurry to our consensus.

As for the rest of you, thank you for your patience. I'm outright sorry that I don't have much else to say aside from this frustration right now.

The Community FM Idea Pitches subforum is now open. Feel free to pitch your ideas, using the rules for making your pitch as written in the sticky.
A game will start once a fair number of people have had a chance to pitch and vote.

Just popping in to let everyone know that we've updated the official role cards.

New roles may be added to the list, but all my changes to the old ones from Game 4D are now official in the rules until further notice.

We have turned off the option to make polls for a pitch in FM Mafia. From now on you will have to contact a FM Moderator to add the poll for you.
This was done to prevent abuse where people would reset the poll whenever they didn't like the outcome.

The Disguiser has been added to the role list after it's part in 5C.
